Flew in last week for a stay at nearby Canoe Bay. Doreen and the rest of line staff were extremely helpful and nice; she even when out of her way to find us a car to use when the local car rental company was out of cars. Great stop!

I have been in and out of RPD multiple times, and have stayed over as much as 2 or 3 weeks at a time over the last 3 / 4 years. Always excellent service and fuel prices have been good, excellent service from all of the staff at RPD, I would recommend this airport to anyone.

After a cross country from eastern Iowa to northern Minnesota, to an airport which didn't have fuel on field, a friend and I were in need of a top off. We stopped at a field 30 miles south of our departure point to find the self-service was out of order. After flying another 40 mi. South we stopped again just to be confronted by a self-service, which didn't take multi-service cards. By the time we landed at Rice Lake we were unable to go any farther. To our dismay the FBO was closed, but one of the line workers was nice enough to get out of bed and drive 45 minutes just to fuel our little Cessna 172. He was even nice enough to give us the current winds when we took off. I would definitely go out of my way to fuel there again. Thanks!!!

On Sunday July 22nd, 2007, I made a weather related stop at Rice Lake on an Angel Flight to pick up a camper from Moose Lake. The line crew at Rick Lake were fantastic...Even offering to put my plane in the hangar while a thunderstorm passed. I would definitely come back again! They were wonderful. Thanks guys!!

The best, most consistent FBO in the area.

Landed at Rice Lake on July 23rd to drop off my son at the nearby Boy Scout camp and received excellent service. Had called ahead for courtesy car and it was brought out to us when we arrived. Fuel prices seemed to be lowest in area. Highly recommend and will stop again when in the area.

Fight high fuel prices and fees: Rice Lake Air Center offers "Base Pilot" 100LL pricing on weekends (15 cents/gal discount). No ramp or facility fees; No tie down fees; Courtesy car usage (2 hrs) with fuel purchase.
