Had a good experience at Atlantic today, Lineman was prompt, the lady at the front counter was extremely helpful and a courtesy car was provided for the hour of work I had in South Bend. Fuel was a little more expensive than average but well worth it for the service.

Excellent service from all in line staff and desk staff. Helped me get moved to a more secure tie down for approaching storms. A+

After being billed a $350.00 ramp fee for a 60 minute stay I was not impressed with Atlantic at all. However I contacted the manager (Kristie) and she promptly found the charge to be in error and refunded it immediately. Overall the service and this facility was top notch and I will use it again. Great work Kristie and her staff!

I really wanted to hate Atlantic for charging exorbitant ramp fees, but the service here was excellent, Brittany at the desk was pleasant and helpful, and the use of the courtesy car was much appreciated. Finally, when the fuel price was discounted from rape to mere petty theft, and another of Brittany's disarming smiles followed me out the door to the ramp, I left a happy customer after all.

Stopped overnight for a meeting at Notre Dame. The controller in the tower was very friendly and helpful since this was my first time flying into KSBN and it was night. When I landed 2 linesmen greeted me and helped me carry my luggage into Atlantic Aviation. The guy behind the desk called the Marriott for the shuttle and took my order for fuel. When I came back the next day to go home, my Turbo Lance was fueled and ready to go. Easy in and easy out! Will stop there again when I am in the area.

Today I am spending a little time doing paperwork after returning from South Bend, a few days ago. Since Atlantic seems to be the only FBO on the field that is where I parked. While doing paperwork I noticed Atlantic snuck into my fuel bill a charge of $60.00 charge labeling it "special event fee". Does this FBO think everyone is dripping with money? Honestly, a special event fee. All I did was breathe the air in the building and buy a soft drink. Someone did waive the Facility Fee of $200.00. Really, how nice after I paid $5.01 a gallon for fuel with taxes of $56.60. All in all to park at this FBO, purchase 157 gallons my bill came to $925.15. Congratulations Atlantic, I throw you in the same scrap pile as Signature and will be sure the $60.00 "special event fee" you acquired will be the most expensive $60.00 you will ever have.

Landed recently in a T210, the night before a major wind storm/front. Lineman met the aircraft on the ramp, and directed to a sheltered area with tiedown ropes. He securely tied down the aircraft. Inside, efficient handling and friendly staff. Nice facilities (I spent enough time there the next day waiting for the wind to subside to know). Good experience in all respects.

I flew into KSBN on a short business trip back in August 2010. The staff on the ramp was busy with a LBJ, but I was able to find a place to park just fine. Greeted with friendly staff while entering the FBO. I was picked up and returned a short 2 hours later. While preparing to leave I said see you next time to the staff and they said let me check to make sure we are all set. I was SHOCKED to find they needed to collect a $40 fee. I explained my plane was not tied down, I needed nothing, and used nothing of theirs except concrete space for 2 hours. I understand some big shots with fancy planes may find this no big deal, but a guy just trying to enjoy the freedom and flexibility of general aviation flying a Cessna 172 is not used to this. I fly all over the country and have never had such a large ridiculous landing fee for a short afternoon outside. I will look for other alternatives next time.

First time flying into SBN Saturday for a Notre Dame game. I have criss-crossed the eastern half of the US and have never had as cheerful of a greeting as the staff at Atlantic gave us. And we were in a Cherokee 235... But were treated like corporate royalty. Greeted on the apron, parked and greeted professionally, driven to the FBO, greeted enthusiastically, cheerfully and professionally. Beautiful facility. First class in all respects. And a 15-gallon fuel purchase waives the facility fee. Thank you!

Firs time flying to South Bend in the Citation. Excellent FBO, the facilities are clean and modern, good overall prices and excellent customer and line service. (Thanks Tia and Amanda)! ATC was great too coordinating a WX ground stop directly with the FBO to tell us when we were ready to go. All requests for both my passengers and crew were met promptly and with professionalism, it was a pleasure doing business with them and will surely choose them again on my next trip into South Bend area.

Stopped in SBN today because of severe weather at my destination in Chicago. Service was excellent. A courtesy car was available to go to lunch and the staff made sure my plane was securely tied down before the storms arrived. Overall very professional and friendly service.

Flew to SBN after the Elkhart airports pancake breakfast on 5-15-10 to visit my cousin who works at SBN, I emailed Mr. Madden a few days before to inquire on the ramp fee. After explaining that I would only be there for an hour he very graciously waived the $20 ramp fee. All employees that I encountered were very courteous, would suggest this FBO to anyone else and will plan to come back again if I ever have business in the SBN area again. Thank you.

The service was great. However, upon arrival the line guy recommended a hangar for our two night stay. We should have asked the rate because upon departure we were charged $480... PER NIGHT!!!

I flew into South Bend last Sunday to drop off my son who was catching the train into Chicago. We were running late so I called ahead on Unicom and asked for assistance. When we arrived, Atlantic had a vehicle waiting on the ramp and rushed him over to the train station. I purchased less than 10 gallons of fuel and was treated like I purchased 500 gallons. Friendly professional service. I highly recommend Atlantic.

I was 'stuck' at South Bend due to bad weather on a trip from Dubuque to Cleveland. The people at Atlantic were very helpful and I was made to feel quite welcome over two days regardless of my measly purchase of 34 gallons of 100LL. They have a very fine facility with WiFi that kept me working while I waited out the weather. Highly recommended.

Had a friend recently have a mechanical issue with his airplane at Atlantic (SBN). I was able to fly the needed part to him to get him on his way. I was on the Atlantic ramp for about 45 min. helping my friend. All line folks were very helpful and friendly. I checked in with the front desk before departing and to my surprise there was a 250.00 ramp fee. Huh? My friend had purchased fuel from them and paid all applicable fees already. I understand this is a business and expected a fee, but come on guys. Response from David Madden, General Manager, Atlantic Aviation Mr. Ritchey as the GM of Atlantic SBN as well as a fellow pilot, I know first hand what it costs to operate an aircraft as well as an FBO. Facility fees are based on the aircraft operated and fuel purchased. Because you visited SBN to "help out" a friend in need, no fees were billed to you. Please verify this on your CC statement. In fact, the friend that you came in to help, was only billed for the fuel he purchased, no facility fees either. Atlantic Aviation strives to provide the best possible customer service. Should you wish to discuss further, please do not hesitate to contact me directly. Sincerely.

I flight instruct out of a flying club based at SBN. The girls that work the desk at Atlantic Aviation are some of the best in the industry. They are always helpful and greet every customer by name. They have a cheery disposition, even on gloomy days, that rubs off on all the crews and passengers who come through the doors. Linemen are helpful and quick to provide fuel or any other ramp service you may require. One of the best FBO's in the country.

I fly into Southbend about once every two weeks from April through October. Always have EXCELLENT service. They know me by name, meet us at the airplane, help us tie down, have a car ready, even allowed us to sleep there once when the weather was passing through. A+ service.
