From Paul Schechter
I had to divert and land at SCX due to weather at my home field last week. It was a Tuesday night about 1930 and everything was closed and locked. I decided to call the airport phone # anyway and leave a message, you never know. Well I was surprised when Hank (Airport Mgr) answered. I told him of our situation and he said he would be there in 15 minutes. He opened the FBO building, let us stay as long as necessary and offered the courtesy car. He locked the street side door and said to just turn out the lights and exit onto the field whenever we wanted. He then left. We waited in cool comfort while the storms passed and even grabbed a few winks of sleep, before taking off a few hours later and returning safely back home. Hank you exemplify what customer service should be. Maybe you could come to my airport M91 and teach our manager a thing or two about customer service. I want all to know what a great guy Hank is to do that.
