I flew with a student in our club C172 from Gillespie to Brown Field on Saturday July 28th 2012. On returning to the transient ramp we discovered the nose wheel tire was completely flat. The airport manager's office was closed and the Jet Center unable to help. A passerby on the ramp notified First Flight of our dilemma and shortly after a mechanic named Emily came to our rescue. Emily removed the wheel and 45 minutes later we were back on our way with a new tire and tube. Tom with First Flight asked who normally did our maintenance and said he would bill them directly. I have heard many great things about First Flight and am now pleased to report I have had first hand experience of their great customer service.

These folks understand that businesses serving GA do better by developing relationships with long term repeat customers than by collecting the nickels and dimes to be had from transients. For small-town style service and support in SoCal, you can't do better. Not flashy but worth stop.
