Nice airport, FBO and restaurant. Unfortunately there is a $50 ramp fee. I fly a Piper Meridian. We were only on the ground for an hour and no services were provided, not even a tie down, and there are cheaper places to buy fuel. Landing here makes the $100 hamburger a $150 meal so I won't be back...Response from Michael Hodges, Managing Director of ABS Aviation / Sebring Flight Center We are sorry to hear of your issues with the ramp fee, and are confused as to your apparent surprise that we charge a fee, since you have visited our FBO previously. The fee for turbine and turbo-prop aircraft has been in place for over 3 years, and is waived with a minimum fuel purchase. In fact, you actually purchased fuel on this visit and did not have to pay the ramp fee. While you indicate that you received no services, you must understand that we are responsible for the care and custody of your aircraft while it is on the ground at SEF. As such, we are incurring liability should something happen to the aircraft while it is on the ramp. Moreover, we must maintain the ramp, make sure that personnel are trained, the lights and air conditioning/heating are on, the bathrooms are clean, and so forth. As such, while we would like to allow everyone to use the facility for free, it is just not financially feasible. We hope you will visit the airport again in the future.

Very nice and spacious terminal with friendly linemen and good food at the restaurant. The service was pretty good, but the restaurant staff seemed to be too frazzled and "behind the curve" for the number of customers. Maybe everyone got there at once...Or maybe they could use some more help. Left a good tip anyway. Landed/departed runway 36 and noticed the bumpy pavement on the first 1000 feet.

No issues with a short stop for lunch at the airport restaurant. I was fueled quickly and the price was the same as the listed price.

Flew in on Saturday to catch the Aerobatic Contest. Wow, RWY 18/36 a couple of years ago was newly paved and super smooth. Now it is horribly bumpy (I touch down at 70mph - a slower landing plane might find it ok). I think the black pavement has buckled in the Florida heat. The restaurant was very busy but we got seated after a short wait. It took about 1/2 hour to get the food after ordering which is not bad considering the crowd there. Service was good, food was good. FBO in the terminal building is a beautiful facility, gas price as listed on AirNav. Self service pumps nicely maintained. No worries.

I have been coming to Sebring for years for various reasons. Although I can't say that I have personally had any BAD EXPERIENCES.. It's disheartening to see/hear all the recent negative comments.. If you scroll back to older dates...Seems like people were much happier when Jack was there...Fuel prices were the best in the area, especially on weekends...The facility is beautiful and has a lot of potential...When staffed properly.. Personal opinion, every restaurant there has been terrible. Lousy food.. Crappy service and odd hours.... Not sure what the FBO has to offer these days that will make a pilot go out of his or her way to stop there that none WX or emergency related...Sorry to have to say this :(:(

No issues with the FBO, but...Don't be fooled by the 18/36 runway listed in good condition. It's the worst hard surface runway I've ever landed on. Even their own website listed commission minutes that said it was bad!

BAD EXPERIENCE. Drop off 3pm. No linemen. Walk inside and CSR (Candace) was too busy on her cell phone to greet us. I inquired about fuel but just got a nod as she didn't get off the phone. I found the SS on my own. Fueled and back inside, I ask if they have a crew car. Yes, last time to go out is 5pm since they close at 6. Pax are leaving at 8:30pm and I ask about what "late fee" is. They tell me $75. "Ok I'll pay it." I'm told that won't keep the building open, that’s only for fuel, everyone is going home and locking up at 6. 4:55 I ask to use the car and am told no. I say its not 5 yet and I'd like to just grab something fast. She refused. I get manager's card and call He assured me that this is out of the norm. He tells me to use the crew car to go get food and wants to keep our business. I inform the CSR of this and still she refuses. 6pm comes around, building gets locked up, and everyone goes home. Security did show up and let me into the fltplan room. Thanks!Response from Linda Wright, Sebring Flight Center Joe most of what you described as your experience was fabricated because you were upset about not being able to use the Crew Car. I do not agree with what you have to say about my CSR (Candace). She is a very courteous and kind Representative. There is a two-hour usage policy for our Crew Car, and Candace explained that to you when you arrived at 2PM, and that the Restaurant closed for business at 2:30PM daily. Again, like I told you that day, that I Apologize for your experience, but please do not exaggerate the circumstances.

I stopped in for lunch at the restaurant and decided to attend the Light Sport Expo nearby. I got clipped $10 for parking by the FBO. Thanks for nothing. I didn't see any service that differed from a normal visit. BTW: fuel was $4.95 for 100LLResponse from Michael Hodges, Managing Director of ABS Aviation, Sebring Flight Center I apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced during the Light Sport Expo. Due to the significant turnout for the event, the FBO provided extra staffing in order to maintain a safe and secure operating environment. As such, we implemented a $10 parking fee for the event. This is the same fee as last year, and is less than what other airports charge for major events such as this. (Auto parking was $5.00 per day.) As for the fuel charge, apparently you were quoted an incorrect price by one of the volunteers, not by anyone from the FBO. The price for 100LL was $4.70 during the event. Everyone that purchased 100LL during the event was charged this price. We are very proud of the service that we provide at the Sebring Flight Center, and feel that we charge fair prices for the facilities, amenities and service provided to our customers. Hopefully, you will give us another chance.

As soon as we arrived we were greeted and given a ride to the FBO on the golf cart. The guy floored it so it was fun. Fuel was very cheap and we were given a crew car for lunch in town. The girl behind the desk was a sweetheart and had a smile in her face the entire time. Will be back to this quiet place soon.

Were caught by WX on a VFR flight from 2RR to FD38 just after sunset so we diverted to SEF. SEF has a beautiful FBO, but it was closed. A security guard was on the field and gave us access to the pilot's lounge until WX got better. Thank you very much :-)

We flew in for lunch on Memorial Day and learned that the airport cafe and the Four Points hotel restaurant were both closed for the holiday. We were provided a crew car and directions into town and the staff were more than courteous! Thanks you very much.

Had another project in the area and came back to Sebring due to my experience the last time. Had a maintenance issue come up Linda at the FBO got me in touch with Roger from Carter's and I could not be happier. They got us in and out very fast. I was able to acquire imagery that morning. Absolutely outstanding service. Anytime I am in the area I will be basing out of Sebring!

Sebring Flight Center stayed open after normal closing hours for a Pilots N Paws animal rescue flight. The adopter was able to pick up the dog and I was able to refuel to fly home. Thanks guys! Fuel discounts on the weekends, beautiful facilities and a cafe overlooking the airport.
