Made engine-out landing at Craig Field on May28 2009 rolled off onto taxi way with dead engine. Began pulling aircraft toward Cahaba Forestry FBO. A young lady came out on a bicycle. She (Angie) dismounted and proceeded to help me haul the aircraft to the hangar. While discussing with Mechanic, Ben, the total electrical failure (all electric aircraft and battery was dead), Angie proceeded to get me a rental car. Ben charged the battery. Too late to do more that day when I arrived back from rental agency with vehicle. But did spend time with Simon who remained to keep the hangar open discussing engines and computer chips. Met Steve, Head Man of the operation, and tried to pay for my night of hangar stay but he refused -just glad to help out - a big help. Next morning Ben helped me roll out aircraft and successful test flight followed after which I headed to my destination. Will be stopping by on return. Great folks all - highly recommend you give then a try.

Angie @ FBO was SUPER NICE lady. Had Enterprise Car reserved in advance, but was not there. She helped us track it down & provided excellent directions to our destination. There is another local car rental named Clean Machines - they had their car waiting for other aircraft coming after us.

Stopped to pick up some jet fuel and pax. Wide open ramp (ex USAF base). Prompt fuel truck refueling, small FBO office but efficient. We were the only plane there.
