To reinforce previous comments, great attention and service from the staff at Southern Maine Aviation. They were efficient and very helpful in troubleshooting an SR20 engine that simply refused to start in the cold. They warmed up a hangar, offered external power for an engine start and presto, I was on my way. Thanks again SMA.

Very good service from this professional FBO. Our aircraft experienced a magneto issue and it was quickly diagnosed by their maintenance people and well repaired so that we could get our aircraft back to it's home base (LWM). Courteous, professional, modern operation. Nice job Southern Maine Aviation - kudos to Mark and Ed!

We fly in here about once a year and every other year for Christmas and New Years. This year the great people at Southern Maine performed an annual inspection on our Tiger while we were there. We landed late on Christmas Eve. There were no tie-down ropes available and the tie-downs were filled with ice so I couldn't use my own ropes. Winds were calm and forecast to stay that way, so I left the plane with just chocks. I called the morning after Christmas and they had already put our plane in a hangar for the coming storm. The annual inspection was meticulously completed with great communication and diligence. Southern Maine has service, prices, everything you could want in an FBO.

The FBO and Cockpit Cafe facilities were outstanding. I can't say enough about the restaurant...The breakfast I had (eggs downeast - poached eggs with succulent lobster (an easy half-crustacean) over an English muffin with Hollandaise sauce was by far the best meal I've had to break my fast over my 26 years. Frendly service; clean, wonderful facilities makes Southern Maine Aviation the place to go. It's no wonder it's a prime recommendation of CFIs back at ASH. Cheers!

Stayed a couple of hours - people there seemed very nice. The cafe was closed so we went across the street to the gas station deli, which has surprisingly good food. Great little airport.

Great place to stop! I went to visit friends in Wells Beach, and was treated very well at SFM. No ramp fee, plenty of parking, friendly staff, and decent fuel prices. Didn't stop at the cafe but they seemed very busy. A cool red biplane giving rides added old time charm to the airport.
