  A great FBO very supportive of general aviation. Good fuel prices good service active flight school there is now a 2-ship sailplane operation on south of field. Wish restaurant were open more hours. There is a Lowes across street.

  Very responsive and nice to work with and fair pricing. I wanted my Baron in a hangar while I was there which they easily handled.

  We spent the 4th of July weekend in Wells and tied down at KSFM for 4 days. The staff at Southern Maine Aviation was very helpful. Met us at the aircraft on arrival. Brought our rental car out to the plane and helped us with bags. Linemen were very professional. Food at the Cockpit Cafe was good after our 3-hour flight. Fuel was reasonably priced as well. I would highly recommend this destination!

  I flew into KSFM Sanford, ME last Saturday for a weeklong stay. Stopped in Newport, RI on my way up. While there, I called Southern Maine Aviation to advise them of my arrival time and to check my rental car reservation. Jonah was working the desk and gave me the bad news - no rental car, but they would help me the best that they could. Let me tell you, above and beyond does not come close to describe how they helped me! We landed with low ceilings and rain just before closing time. The line, Noah and Nick, were standing by to get us out of the weather and into a hangar overnight. Mark, the manager, reached out to the rental car company, but there was nothing that could be done on Saturday night. So he set us up with a company vehicle for the weekend and we were on our way. I give five stars to their approach to customer service. Thank you Mark, Noah, Nick, Ann, Tracy, and Jonah. You guys are GREAT!!!

  Could not have had a more pleasant experience. Cheap fuel, smiling faces, and an on airport diner. What more could you want?
