This has become one of my favorite FBOs -- tremendous service whether I'm there with my Glasair III or operating turbine equipment. Friendly personnel, good restaurant, excellent facilities...

Went to Saint Augustine to visit my adult son who is deaf. The thoughtful lady at the desk passed notes with him so he would know he was in the right place. The line crewman led him to the airplane parking and then unpacked the plane! He would have given us a ride back but we wanted to walk since the seabreeze is so pleasant there. Clean restrooms, internet, coffee, everything an FBO should be.

Stopped in at Galaxy on 8-4-08. Needed hangar space and got it. I couldn't ask for a more friendly and professional FBO. From the linemen to the front desk they were all top notch. I wish all FBO's were all like Galaxy! Some people will always complain about high prices - But you get what you pay for.....

Landed late and spent an overnight at KSGJ when a thick line of storms blocked the way to Southern FL. Have been to some friendly FBO's, but Eric and the line crew at Galaxy top them all. Can't say enough about how helpful they all were. Fantastic service!

This was my first time into St. Augustine airport, although I've flown over it probably 50 times on my way home to Orlando-Sanford (SFB). Wow, Galaxy is a great FBO. The line guys and the ladies at the desk do a wonderful job. The lady inside suggested a really good place for lunch, "Cap's" on the Intercostal. We were meeting friends who were in town from Denver and had a good visit and a super lunch. We'll be back. Didn't need fuel, so I didn't check the price. Dave & Margaret Williams March 2, 2008

Very nice FBO, linemen and desk workers are all very nice. Fuel is a bit pricey but at a busy airport what do you expect. Every time I fly in I am parked and greeted by a lineman, no ramp fee either, unless overnight. If you are flying in the SGJ area I would suggest Galaxy.

My wife and I stopped by for an overnight in old St. Augustine. Galaxy has always lived up to its fine reputation. Moved luggage for us, had a cab waiting, and Hot Chocolate Chip Cookies waiting inside. Yes, you are parked in no-mans land, but they are waiting to shuttle you with golf carts. Think about it...Do you really want to be parked right out front for several days with every jet around you starting up and positioning? I'd rather be someplace safe and away from the immediate action. We Will Be Back.

My wife and I flew into St. Augustine the night before the annual meeting of the Golf Hall of Fame. (Not planned.) We arrived among a flock of Gulfstreams. Galaxy treated us like royalty despite the fact that we were just regular people arriving in a Beech Sundowner. The entire staff was very friendly and professional. Parking for small singles is about 500 yards away from the FBO. But they take you out to your plane in a golf cart. Come on, it's a no-brainer! Gas is a little pricy but cheaper than the FBO where I tie down my plane. Overall a great experience. I would recommend this place to anyone. We will definitely come back.

An absolute fantastic FBO. Flew in for a few hours, was charged no ramp fees, even though I didn't purchase gas. Had a taxi called to give us a ride into town. Got back to the airport at night and was given a ride out to the plane and was treated as though I had flown in on a Citation. I will be going back! Adam M20F

Nice facility and these guys at Galaxy are on the ball. I was there for a 3-hour visit. Galaxy didn't charged any ramp fee or handling charge even though I didn't need fuel or services on this trip.

We have flown into SGJ many times over the last 8 months with our new K/A 350 and the service has been outstanding. From the line personnel to all those at the front desk have show total professional service with a smile. We usually arrive when Ursula has been at the front desk and her friendly service is exceptional. They go out of their way to provide every request we have for our flights. Thank you for all your great service.

Stopped at Galaxy Aviation late last night, 11:30 to be exact. With 30 mins to spare, we made a Jet-A fuel request. Went into the FBO, was clean as could be. The lone worker - Mitch - took care of the fueling, payment, and was very helpful. Highly suggest stopping by instead of using the city pump. But, your mileage may vary.

The transient parking is close to the building but overnight parking for my PA28 required a trip out to the boondocks. No tie-down fee for overnight w/gas purchase and staff is very friendly.

Decent service and decent facility, but prices are ridiculous. Charged $5.50 per gallon plus $20 per night parking. Plane was parked about 1/2 mile away. They gave us a ride, but for those prices I would have expected it to be brought up.

We flew our Maule into SGJ on March 7th for a 3-day stay. Jax center and SGJ tower very nice and unhurried on this day. Galaxy is a nice modern FBO but gas price is inflated. Gas is a dollar or so cheaper at the govt. pump near the tower but I chose to support the FBO instead. They met me on the ramp and the lineman parked us and was very friendly. Folks behind the desk also friendly and helpful. All in all a good FBO but really cost more than it should to stay there.

Excellent airport, friendly controllers, and great town for a fly-in trip. Excellent service from Galaxy with no fee for evening parking for C172, without fuel purchase. Cab ride to town is $10 for 2 people.

Efficient, fast, and very friendly service from both the linemen and the CSRs. Truly one of the most helpful group of people I've encountered while flying to over 500 FBOs around the country. Absolutely top notch.

Landed at SGJ because of a mechanical problem with my plane. Couldn’t ask for more. Galaxy Aviation, found an A&P, hotel, and a rental car for the evening. Sharon, Jack and Dawn are some of the nicest people you are ever going to meet in any FBO!

Galaxy Aviation equals superior service! WOW, I was impressed. We flew in on November 10 in 2 light singles. Galaxy hooked us up with a great hotel and a cheap rental car for the night. Everyone we came in contact with was friendly and doing everything they could to make our time there enjoyable. The line guys were super helpful. I WILL be back. While I love this place, and I realize it is a business decision, I wish Galaxy would get their fuel prices a bit closer to the SS fuel on the field. I wanted to buy fuel from them but the margin was just too great. I cheerfully paid the $10 dollar tie down fee for the night. I kind of felt a bit sheepish about this but was never pressured to purchase fuel. Thanks Galaxy!!

I picked up one passenger on October 19, 2006. There was a $95.00 ramp fee for no services but pick up and it took the person behind the counter a long time to enter information into her system about the aircraft I was flying. This plane was a King Air A100 and she had us down on the bill as a BE A36 and charged us as a light jet. I guess she was new. $95 for poor service! Arrived at 11:45pm and Bob came out in golf cart to allow us to follow him in our 182. After getting into Galaxy, he went out to get our car to bring it around while we did the paperwork. When I walked out, he had already unloaded the golf cart into our rent car. Great service. Place is clean and well worth the $10 p/nt tie down fee. Ramp personnel were waiting to carry us out to our plane. I recommend this place.

Stopped at KSUJ to spend a few hours in town. Found "cheap" fuel 100LL at the SS pump and super service at Galaxy Aviation. The office staff supplied local area map with their own personal favorite eating-place along with what has been recommended by others. A good stop. Will return and hope to stay overnight.

Flew into Galaxy in a PA28 and received service like I was a GV. A lineman came out in a golf cart and guided me in and took my fuel order. Went and grabbed lunch at the Cafe on the second floor and left a half hour later. I will definitely be back again!!! Great Job Galaxy!!!

Great service at Galaxy Aviation. We were met by friendly lineman who then brought our rental car to the plane. First class facility with co-located Hertz and Enterprise rentals. Adjacent restaurant with excellent service and food. Our plane was well cared for and securely tied down with reasonable fee of $10 per night. Everyone was pleasant and helpful with local arrangements for a 4-day stay. We refueled at the self-service under the tower which was somewhat better priced than the FBO, but were still treated well at Galaxy.

Met by ramp personnel upon arrival in our Skylane. Got assistance with luggage and a golf cart lift to and from plane. Needed an oxygen tank filled - no charge. Very nice terminal with rental car companies sharing space with Galaxy. Car ready at arrival and no tie down fee. Galaxy is as close to perfect as an FBO can get.

Fly By CafŽ is now open again -- it is located above the FBO -- excellent burgers -- complete breakfast and lunch menus and fresh salad and soup bar. Fly By will also handle catering. Galaxy bought out Aero Sport recently and are making procedural changes, but anyone familiar with Aero Sport shouldn't have too many issues.
