Sorry guys this has been a long time coming. Even though it was about a month ago my service was so excellent at Galaxy Aviation I had to let everyone know. On 10/9 I pulled up to the Galaxy ramp with wife and two small children in a 1983 172P right in next to a Gulfstream V. The staff was so nice and friendly that you would have thought we came in the GV not the 172. Best FBO in Florida hands down.

Eric Johnson and the entire staff of Galaxy Aviation at KSGJ does an outstanding job of taking care of their customers. I wish we flew there more often. Thanks to all of you!

On Sept 24 we flew 3 Experimental aircraft EZ type to St Augustine and taxied to Galaxy Aviation. From beginning to departure 3 days later, it was a first class experience. Our aircraft were parked in the shade beside the big jets, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They even drove us to our B&B and back. We'll be back as soon as work permits. Thank you.

The staff at Galaxy is top notch, and went far above and beyond the norm last week when a student of mine and I dropped in for dinner. After using the crew car to find food, we came back only to find the airplane having a maintenance problem. The guys at the desk stayed late and helped to make hotel reservations, then gave us a ride to the hotel, all after normal business hours! In the morning the early crew helped arrange a tug over to VALIANT AVIATION where some more top notch maintenance folks took care of the fuel leak and got us on our way. Couldn't ask for better service - FIRST CLASS ALL THE WAY!

Flew in for Labor Day weekend. It was my first time in St. Augustine. The staff at Galaxy Aviation was very helpful with tips, maps and suggestions. Outstanding customer service and staff. Highly recommend. Received fuel discount and one parking night off for refueling. Controllers sensitive to out of town pilots. Very helpful.

N578CP August 31, 2009 Excellent service, took me to my hotel in the courtesy car and picked me up the next day after my meeting. I was having the plane serviced @ Southeast Aero, they dropped me off there. Everything was in order. Great FBO...

I came through on Angel Flight on Monday (7/27). First, the view on the approach on runway 31 is great (beaches, ocean, etc.). Second, the controllers seem very eager to have you in their airspace, which was a nice change of pace from Orlando, which was quite hectic. The ground guys and the front desk folks were great. The amenities in the pilot lounge (shower, etc.) were first-rate. Pleasant experience...

We flew into SGJ without any idea there were multiple fly-ins and a PGA event. Galaxy had airplanes parked in overflow and on the runway, but they had golf carts taking everyone where they needed to go. No delay at all for arrival or departure. Between Galaxy and the controllers I haven't been to many airports with better service.

We just left Galaxy Aviation after a 2-night stay. As always, the service was superb! We fly a 182 and got treated as though we were flying a GV. A quick phone call got us a rental car and a hotel on short notice. The line guys ROCK! Galaxy Aviation in St. Augustine has got customer service down to a fine art.

On March 17th we landed at SGJ and parked our Bonanza N85WM at Galaxy for 2 days. Service was superb - very attentive and friendly staff. Had a nice lunch at the Fly-By-Cafe upon our arrival. Looking forward to our next trip.

I flew into St. Augustine for lunch a few weeks ago with some friends. The FBO was very friendly, giving us a ride from the ramp to the restaurant at the FBO. The food was pretty good at the restaurant, but the service a little slow. When we were finished we met the manager who gave us some souvenirs because we were Embry-Riddle students, really nice guy! I will definitely be back.

Did a pickup for an Angel Flight. Staff was very courteous and helpful about getting us on our way. We were running a bit late due to weather and the staff did everything they could to make this a quick turnaround. Thank you Galaxy.

I hosted a fly-in to SGJ for the AYA. Being based at SRQ this presented a challenge. Galaxy made the event a success by offering our group dedicated parking, a fuel discount, hotel discounts and help arranging local transportation. Line Manager Matthew O'Toole called me twice to update the headcount for parking purposes, briefed the tower and was there to meet each pilot upon arrival. Our group also enjoyed Sunday brunch at the Fly-By Cafe located at the FBO. St. Augustine is one of Florida's best pilot destinations and Galaxy provides the perfect gateway to the city. Thanks to Michael Slingluff, Matthew and the rest of the Galaxy team for a wonderful fly-in experience! We can't wait to fly back.

Went to Saint Augustine to visit my adult son who is deaf. The thoughtful lady at the desk passed notes with him so he would know he was in the right place. The line crewman led him to the airplane parking and then unpacked the plane! He would have given us a ride back but we wanted to walk since the seabreeze is so pleasant there. Clean restrooms, internet, coffee, everything an FBO should be.

Stopped in at Galaxy on 8-4-08. Needed hangar space and got it. I couldn't ask for a more friendly and professional FBO. From the linemen to the front desk they were all top notch. I wish all FBO's were all like Galaxy! Some people will always complain about high prices - But you get what you pay for.....

Landed late and spent an overnight at KSGJ when a thick line of storms blocked the way to Southern FL. Have been to some friendly FBO's, but Eric and the line crew at Galaxy top them all. Can't say enough about how helpful they all were. Fantastic service!

This was my first time into St. Augustine airport, although I've flown over it probably 50 times on my way home to Orlando-Sanford (SFB). Wow, Galaxy is a great FBO. The line guys and the ladies at the desk do a wonderful job. The lady inside suggested a really good place for lunch, "Cap's" on the Intercostal. We were meeting friends who were in town from Denver and had a good visit and a super lunch. We'll be back. Didn't need fuel, so I didn't check the price. Dave & Margaret Williams March 2, 2008

Very nice FBO, linemen and desk workers are all very nice. Fuel is a bit pricey but at a busy airport what do you expect. Every time I fly in I am parked and greeted by a lineman, no ramp fee either, unless overnight. If you are flying in the SGJ area I would suggest Galaxy.

My wife and I stopped by for an overnight in old St. Augustine. Galaxy has always lived up to its fine reputation. Moved luggage for us, had a cab waiting, and Hot Chocolate Chip Cookies waiting inside. Yes, you are parked in no-mans land, but they are waiting to shuttle you with golf carts. Think about it...Do you really want to be parked right out front for several days with every jet around you starting up and positioning? I'd rather be someplace safe and away from the immediate action. We Will Be Back.

My wife and I flew into St. Augustine the night before the annual meeting of the Golf Hall of Fame. (Not planned.) We arrived among a flock of Gulfstreams. Galaxy treated us like royalty despite the fact that we were just regular people arriving in a Beech Sundowner. The entire staff was very friendly and professional. Parking for small singles is about 500 yards away from the FBO. But they take you out to your plane in a golf cart. Come on, it's a no-brainer! Gas is a little pricy but cheaper than the FBO where I tie down my plane. Overall a great experience. I would recommend this place to anyone. We will definitely come back.

An absolute fantastic FBO. Flew in for a few hours, was charged no ramp fees, even though I didn't purchase gas. Had a taxi called to give us a ride into town. Got back to the airport at night and was given a ride out to the plane and was treated as though I had flown in on a Citation. I will be going back! Adam M20F

We have flown into SGJ many times over the last 8 months with our new K/A 350 and the service has been outstanding. From the line personnel to all those at the front desk have show total professional service with a smile. We usually arrive when Ursula has been at the front desk and her friendly service is exceptional. They go out of their way to provide every request we have for our flights. Thank you for all your great service.

Stopped at Galaxy Aviation late last night, 11:30 to be exact. With 30 mins to spare, we made a Jet-A fuel request. Went into the FBO, was clean as could be. The lone worker - Mitch - took care of the fueling, payment, and was very helpful. Highly suggest stopping by instead of using the city pump. But, your mileage may vary.

The transient parking is close to the building but overnight parking for my PA28 required a trip out to the boondocks. No tie-down fee for overnight w/gas purchase and staff is very friendly.

Decent service and decent facility, but prices are ridiculous. Charged $5.50 per gallon plus $20 per night parking. Plane was parked about 1/2 mile away. They gave us a ride, but for those prices I would have expected it to be brought up.

We flew our Maule into SGJ on March 7th for a 3-day stay. Jax center and SGJ tower very nice and unhurried on this day. Galaxy is a nice modern FBO but gas price is inflated. Gas is a dollar or so cheaper at the govt. pump near the tower but I chose to support the FBO instead. They met me on the ramp and the lineman parked us and was very friendly. Folks behind the desk also friendly and helpful. All in all a good FBO but really cost more than it should to stay there.
