Airport is closed for runway resurfacing until sometime in late October 2009.

Stopped at SIK on a fluke...Greeted on final by FBO attendant...Brian I think it was. Didn't need fuel but the hospitality took me by surprise so I took on about 9 gallons of fuel. There were two youngsters that were eager to sit in a plane...I gladly obliged and the smiles were huge. Wish I had time to visit Lamberts.

I agree with all the positive comments below. Lamberts is must if you stop here. Fuel was $4.05 at the self-serve on 5-4-09.

Call Unicom while you taxi in and ask for the Lamberts Shuttle. They will come pick you up for the best $100 hamburger you've ever had! On our visit the self-serve was not working. They found a way to get us fueled up, but on a busy day it could have been a real mess. Seemed like a pretty popular stop, so maybe a fuel truck someday? Simple FBO building, but it has the "basic" services. Somebody should convince the Lamberts Cafe to invest in this FBO, as it seemed every pilot was heading there anyway.

Made a trip to Sikeston to eat at Lamberts Cafe. Was treated like a king!!! Turned out Lamberts van had just dropped off a group and waited for us. Took us directly to a table, and the food was awesome!!! Staff at the FBO helped me fuel the plane (Self Serve) and was very helpful. Overall it was an excellent experience!!!

We had a pleasant experience at KSIK. There was quite a bit of traffic when we came in. The FBO staff was very friendly. The Lambert's shuttle was ready to go and we headed off for a great lunch. We will definitely be back.

Landed RWY 2 at SIK. Got a call in the air to see if I needed anything. Was met at the ramp. Excellent service.

Flew in for the famous Lambert's. The tie downs space looks good, but the runway and taxi condition are exactly as described with grass and weeds growing up in the cracks. Beyond that, Lamberts arrived w/in a few minutes of us asking - they were dropping someone else off. Food was plentiful and good. We will return to Lambert's again.

Used Sikeston as fuel stop on our way south for spring break. Lineman asked us if we needed anything while we were on approach. We said fuel and lunch at Lambert's. He had van from Lambert's waiting for us. Lambert's was a hoot. Especially enjoyed VIP treatment for pilots and the piano player. Will definitely stop here again.

They are redoing ramp, but you can still get in to use the self-serve fuel pump. Price was still $4.17, but they were trying to get rid of gas before work started on other side of ramp so he gave us a price of $3.00 if we paid cash - I was sorry we only needed 39 gallons.

I have been in a couple of times in the past few months. On the second visit we had problems with the fuel pump, as did the lineman. The lineman was very helpful and we managed to get fuel. I agree with the short hours that they are there but I've had a couple of good experiences.

Very nice people. I forgot my cellphone in the FBO. They contacted me the same day and mailed my cell to my home address. Thanks. We will go back.

Sikeston needs some help. The Runway is in really bad shape, the FBO has no services, I tried to buy about 2000$ worth of Jet-A but they ran out, again. I don't know the name of the Manager, but there was older guy there and he acted like the manager and he didn’t care. Something needs to change.

We had a very pleasant visit Monday when we stopped in to eat at Lambert's. They called for a ride to the restaurant and were later very gracious while we commandeered their couch and recliners to let settle the forty or so pounds of food each of us ate. We had just topped off in Memphis, so this service was all with no expectation of a sale. I will try to have some room in the tanks next time we visit Lambert's!

We flew in KSIK for the first time in over a year to have lunch at Lambert's with my family. SS fueling worked out very nicely, as they are willing to tow your airplane to parking after fueling, if necessary (something I was concerned with, flying in a C-310). They greeted me on Unicom and Lambert's van was waiting for us by the time we reached the office. The staff at KSIK is as nice as you will find, anywhere. This is a must-stop for anyone flying through Southern-Mo... And worthy of a diversion out of your way, even if you are not! If you haven't been to Lambert's, you've never truly experienced the ultimate "fly somewhere for lunch" destination.

The code is #2580, but the digits are commercially produced lettering and the # is written in marker. I looked at the sign having read the prior comment and didn't notice the # - the Lambert's driver had to point it out. Still a great place to eat
