Flew into SJC and Atlantic Aviation FBO on a Veterans Airlift Command (private organization) mission to transport a wounded Iraq war veteran to San Antonio for further rehabilitation. The staff was very helpful and professional in assisting the soldier. Though we did not stay long at the FBO their facilities are top-notch. In support of this country's wounded veterans, the FBO manager generously waived the ramp fees. Due to their support, services, and handling of this flight I would use their FBO again for my other flights to SJC.

We fly our King Air through here a few times a month. All around an expensive stop but they do give very good Service. As for the expense, a big piece goes to the City!

If time and efficiency is important then Atlantic Aviation at SJC is worth the extra cost. They waive the $40 fee if you purchase 15 gal of avgas. Your rental car or taxi will be waiting and so you can be on your way in a few minutes after landing. It is also much easier to arrive and depart in the morning fog.

Good experience as usual with Atlantic in San Jose. Promptly marshaled my Cirrus to the "singles" area they have between the large hangars, and they took it from there. They did provide a crew car for me, and the airplane was fueled as requested and they even brought it right out front for my departure. Yeah, the fuel price is high, but they do waive the ramp fee with minimum purchase. (The "security fee" is $15, not waived.) So maybe I paid $25 more for fuel than I would have at Reid-Hillview. Big deal - they earned it with excellent service.

There is a true monopoly at San Jose airport for General Aviation airplanes. Since Atlantic purchased both the San Jose Jet Center & the ACM, they can get away to charge the General Aviation Public with anything that they want. This is a true case of antitrust and I hope someone who has the interest of the General Aviation does something to stop this monopoly. If every business in the Bay area were a monopoly there would have been no Silicon Valley High tech companies to begin with. I am not sure why they have allowed one company to establish a monopoly at the heart of the Silicon Valley???

Very nice experience. Flew in on a Seminole. Very friendly and proficient staff all-around. Super-nice and clean FBO terminal. All amenities. Nice shop/deli (try the BLT). FREE shuttle to hotel and back (a 15 min. drive for us each way)! If you fly in for FAA business (the FSDO is right next door), make sure to ask the FSDO clerk for an "orange card". The FBO will then waive the "facility fee". Costs: "Facility fee" $40 (piston singles) or $60 (piston twins), waived if on FAA business (see above) or if purchasing a minimum of 20 gal (singles) or 30 gal (twins) of AVGAS (@ $6.07/gal full service). Includes first night of parking. Further nights $15/night (singles). "TSA security fee" adds $15. Not cheap but good.

Flew a Bonanza in Tuesday (2/23/10) for an overnight stay. Upon leaving Wednesday I found out that there's a new $15 TSA fee being assessed. Overall service was good and they gave me $20 break on the $40 landing fee since I could only take 12 of the required 15 gallons to waive it all together.

Took the wife to a Sharks Hockey game. It was a pleasure dealing with the folks at Atlantic, we were in a little Cessna 172 and treated like the big boys. Thanks again

Great FBO. I arrived in a Mooney and was directed to shut down next to my rental car on the ramp. I was on the road in three minutes. Departure was also swift and painless.

If you're going there in a piston airplane, do your best to find someplace else. This is the worst service I have ever experienced, bar none. I had to tell the desk person three times that I needed fuel and oil (they got the oil right the first time, they just neglected the fuel, which makes the oil rather pointless). They clearly didn't have time for me or my ilk, even though there were no business jets active on the ramp. They went out of their way to make it clear I was a bother. I will make every effort in the future to avoid this place, which I can only presume is what they want.

Operated several flights in a C-90 King Air from Atlantic from 9/10 thru 9/11. Very good service on a crowded, busy ramp. Suggest calling ahead with your arrival and departure schedule as that will help the line folks guide you to an appropriate parking spot. It is a somewhat expensive stop but they give you service commensurate with the prices. Also, the Real Estate bust notwithstanding, property in Silicon Valley is still very, very expensive.

I visited 9/4/09. I had called Customer Service the day before to find out ramp fees ($40 for my Cessna T206) and arrange for a Crew Car since I was there for just an hour or two. Very nice complex and facilities. However, when I got to the front desk they stated they "do not provide a crew car for such small planes" (unbelievable). I told them I had called customer service and whom I had spoken with, she stated "well, she probably did not realize what a small plane you had". I then pulled out my AvFuel card, because they advertise they use it, and they do not accept the Corporate AvFuel card, only contracts (no sure what this meant). The staff was professional but less than friendly. Again, facility is very nice, but you pay $5.60 for gas (when everyone else is $4.00 at the moment, and it is clear they do not want to waste their time with the small planes, which is understandable because of money, but if this is the case, say so. Was disappointed.

Good service for a Quick Turn in a C-90 King Air on Sat, 8/8/09. As always, check the minimum Fuel Purchase to waive the Ramp Fees.

Good service but watch out for those add on fees. They charged me $130 ramp fee over and above fuel and taxes (lots of taxes too, $69 total not even counting the taxes buried in the fuel price!) even though I bought 128 gallons of fuel! Nice facility but I will be looking for other places to go when I want to go to the bay area.

Been to many Atlantic FBOs. Atlantic SJC is by far the best in the whole chain. Very well trained staff, a supervisor named Marcus was the most helpful and professional Line Tech I have ever seen. The girls behind the desk were courteous and friendly as well. Can’t wait to go back. Fuel prices a bit on the high side, but service made up for it.

Flew in to KSJC from KRNO in a 172 on May 11 and stayed for one night. Atlantic was professional and courteous. They waived my parking and 'usage' fee with a 15-gallon fuel purchase. Nice facility. Be vigilant for traffic in the NORCAL airspace as there are a lot of large aircraft coming and going from all around. Flight following is a HUGE help.

Great service. Waived $40 fee with 15-gallon purchase. Flew to drop off someone to catch commercial flight. They provide a shuttle. Will use again.
