AirNav had fuel price listed as $4 and change so we stopped here on our way back from OSH. An expensive mistake! There was no posted price and I foolishly didn’t double check before pumping. Turned out to be the most expensive fuel on the trip at $5.56. KCKP right next door is almost $1/gallon cheaper. There was no water or food available as it was all for their AG pilots. Definitely a place to avoid.

This is a friendly, very well maintained field with a dedicated family management team (Bart's Flying Service). I'm a recent arrival from the east coast. Typical of their attention and good cheer is my experience last night, when, after flying the RNAV (GPS) 35 approach, Lockheed Martin put me on hold for 10 mins while I tried to cancel my IFR at 11:00 p.M. Before they took my cancellation ATC had called Bart at home to investigate my 'disappearance'. He drove to the field without so much as a wince or frown, we straightened things out by calling someone at ATC directly, and then he helped me roll my plane into the hangar in his house slippers. The three runways are immaculate, fuel is reasonable, and there is a lavatory open 24x7. Recommended.
