While at KAAS, Taylor County, it went overcast and 2700 feet, and there were airmets for mod turbulence. I decided to go somewhere near by. Checked the sectional and KSME looked like a great choice. Called over, got a live person, asked some questions, then flew over. Greeted by the line person, he helped me put the plane inside the hangar and gave me a ride back to the FBO. I mentioned that I would like to leave as early as 7AM he said the FBO didn't open till 9AM, but he would come in early to get me on my way. The charge for parking in the hangar was quite good $30.00 for the night, and the next morning he come over to the hotel and picked me up. GREAT PLACE TO STOP.
