		Got grounded during a trip from Amarillo to St Louis and had to stop here due to the terrible 2011 blizzards. These folks are quiet and go the extra mile. They hooked me and another pilot up with hangar space at the last minute. This kept our planes out of the weather for a couple weeks. I have friends in Shawnee and I'll give whatever business I can to SNL from now on.

		Nice airport, but be aware there is major construction going on there now and a good portion of the runway is closed (check NOTAMs!). When the construction is done they will have a nice parallel taxiway and a brand new terminal that looks very nice.

		Flew in on business and stayed for two weeks. Very good fuel prices, great guys at the FBO. They towed my aircraft to the bulk hangar and kept it out of Oklahoma winds for very little money. I understand new terminal is coming soon, that will make this airport even better. Looking forward to using the airport for other missions and fuel stops. Thanks KSNL.

		Arrived early morning for meeting. Gave them my fuel order and was completed as promised. Used the local Hertz rental and the car was at the airport when requested. Would use again if in the area.

		I flew into the airport just after dark in early October 2009. It was closed. The taxi service to town barely exists and the distance is way too far to walk. For a fuel stop it is fine but skip it if you plan to stay over night

		I have frequented Shawnee Airport over the last couple of years and as a long time corporate pilot I couldn't find a nicer staff. Rex, Dave and Eric cheerfully go out of their way to see to your every need. Low fuel prices, hangar and tie down and a nice airport make this a great stop.
