		Not drawing any locals at lunch...A bad sign. Lunch was just okay; mainly burgers or Chinese food. Hmmm. I'll take the crew car offer next time.

		Great Iced Tea! Good, reasonably priced food. Friendly wait-staff. Atmosphere a little lacking.

		James and Helen are very friendly and the food is good at a reasonable price. Nice view of the ramp and airport activity. Many local people, not aviation connected eats here.

		The restaurant opens at 9am not 8am as indicated on website link.

		The Landing Zone is a great restaurant. The owners, Helen and James are great hosts. Helen has quite a memory and remembers you and what you ordered the last time you were there. Good food at a great price. I like the convenience of being able to taxi to the front of the restaurant. The Salinas airport tower staff is very friendly and will gladly provide ground instructions to the restaurant. In fact, I think there is a green taxi line that you can follow all the way to the Landing Zone. Great Restaurant at a friendly airport!!

		I second every comment in the prior message about The Landing Zone! The food, and the people are terrific!
