First negative comment I've ever left...Arrived on Sunday afternoon for a quick turn fuel stop. Only one employee there, and he was obviously VERY inexperienced. Actually had to call a supervisor to get instructions on how to process a MasterCard. We're used to a quickturn being 12-15 minutes, reload, and back into the air. We took 310 gallons of Jet A, over the wing, and it took 36 minutes. Pax were unimpressed. Needless to say, I won't be going back.

I'm traveling across country with my wife and two retrievers in my 172. The info I had from AOPA showed that the FBO closing at 9:00 and we weren't going to arrive until 9:30. With a rental car waiting, I was worried I'd be stranded. Imagine my delight when I see a lone figure on the empty ramp guiding me in with a pair of light wands. He'd been tracking me online and knew when I'd arrive. Very happy with the experience.

Getting into Sheppard was much easier than I anticipated, leave the VOR 075 and don't over fly military taxiways or runways. FBO staff was great but I was a touch surprised by the $30 "handling charge", whatever that was for.
