Great service and friendly-helpful staff. Rental was on ramp waiting. Only a $15.00 tie down fee per night and they will bring the aircraft to their door for you when ready for departure. Sue was extra helpful and a great person. Very highly recommended

Very nice experience with Volo. I did not need help with ground transport, but they treated my family and me like a VIP in my 210 (I had called ahead and told them I'd need a week of parking and about 50 gals). No issue driving the van on the ramp for loading/unloading. Parking on the ramp was $99 for 10 days They're open 7am-10pm.

The staff at Volo was first class, and continued to meet your needs such as rental car, handling luggage, fuel etc. Immediately upon arrival. The facility was very clean and well organized.

Mooney pilot from Wisconsin, stayed a week, and had a positive experience. All the staff members were very friendly and helpful. Facilities were clean and comfortable. We rented a car through the FBO, and the price was within a few dollars of what could be had online. While they advertise on AirNav no ramp fee, there is a daily tie down fee. No complaints. This FBO seems "piston airplane" friendly, so we will be back.

I will echo the comments of my flying partner Mike McKibben when I say that the staff at Volo could not have treated us better during our recent Spring Training trip. Everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We will absolutely be back next year and we will tell all of our fellow pilots from Birmingham to put Volo on their "must visit" list when in the Tampa/Sarasota area.

Volo gave us outstanding service while in town to watch spring training baseball for a few days. They helped with Hertz (didn't have any rate issue like the other post did), got us a great corporate rate w/ local hotels, and the front desk and line service was prompt, extremely helpful, and professional. We will be back and recommend Volo highly to others.

Had good experience with folks at Volo--as usual. But I called ahead for car reservation, and they kindly took care of that with Hertz local. I had the small car for 5 days and was charged a total of $754.89. Never charged that much ANYWHERE. Didn't research prices myself before asking them to make reservation. Lesson learned

Facility was clean and courtesy car was readily available and also clean. The lineman was courteous and filled the airplane as requested. However, the front desk lady's was a little arrogant, as we happened to overhear a radio call to lineman that "the kids with the Cessna better give her a credit card before leaving". We're all in our mid-twenties and would have expected a nicer "behind-the back demeanor" about customers. Other than that it was a pleasant experience. N17386.

This young man and his party had their aircraft fueled and did not stop at the front desk to make payment upon returning from dinner, so the CSR radioed the line crew to remind our guests that they needed to stop in to settle up their bill prior to departure, merely to avoid any potential confusion (I thought my friend paid it sort of thing, like we've seen before). The CSR in question is in her early 20's, so it is highly unlikely she would ever refer to anyone that age as "kids" and equally unlikely this particular young lady would be condescending to anyone regardless of age. We appreciate all the wonderful clients we've met and earned through this website, and we wanted to be sure that you all know, as the late great Paul Harvey would say, the rest of the story.

Flew in from MI and spent a week. Great service! Friendly people on the ramp and in the office. When we called ahead before using the plane it was pulled up to the office before we got there. They move and tie you down. Despite the Super Bowl crowd the SRQ experience was delightful largely due to Volo. Thanks!

Visited Sarasota last Saturday. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Since we were only visiting for 3 hours, we were not charged a landing fee. Great FBO ! Would definitely use VOLO again during my next visit to Sarasota.

Used to go to Dolphin but no more!! Volo is hands down the friendliest by far! I go south usually once a month to see my elderly father and price being a concern, I always felt ripped off at Dolphin with their high tie down and fuel fees. Volo has so far tried to keep fees reasonable and offer a great smile too!

Stopped in briefly today, 12/9, to visit family while we were on our way to south Florida in a Mooney Bravo. Volo provided us with a crew car and a place to park for about four hours. The best part: we were charged nothing (we didn't take on any fuel)! Great operation...Will be back! Great job, Volo!

After using Dolphin for years on an annual run into SRQ and always leaving there with the question why do I keep going back to Dolphin, I decided to try Volo this year. It's "around back" if you're coming by car, but the folks could not be nicer, faster or more accommodating. Wendy jumped on the phone and talked our party right to the door and 2 quick turns were just that. And we saved a few cents a gallon. As I recall they had mouthwash, too. An efficient, clean well run operation. On the ramp and inside.

As a local, hangaring my plane @ SRQ, I appreciate the attitude and quality of service that Volo provide. The staff at the customer service counter, and the line guys for fuel and parking, are very customer service oriented, and make for a positive experience. I flew into SRQ the other day and was extremely pleased with the service at Volo. They pulled my rental car up to the plane on the ramp to make it easier for me to load. I was hoping to leave early the next morning (6:30am) and they indicated that they were not normally open till 7:00am, but the manager arranged for the staff to arrive early for me. No extra charge for the extra service. (And I had only purchased about 12 gallons of fuel). First class service.

I've been to Sarasota about a dozen times in the last 6 months for business. Every time I've used Volo the experience has been second to none. The service is excellent, the staff is helpful, the facilities are clean and comfortable, and the local knowledge is superb. They are very friendly, and very reasonable with regards to thier prices. I wouldn't go anywhere else. They even ask about my wife every time she not there... Thanks!

The best FBO on the field. I flew my C210 for a weekend at Sun n Fun and a weekend in Sarasota and was treated like family. The ladies up front were great help with an actual sense of humor to boot. Keep up the great attitude ladies; I will keep on coming back :))

After I shut the engine down, everyone was "what can we do for you today sir". I made no car reservation but ask about one and in a few minutes I had a car and was out the door. Great service. I asked to be topped off but that seemed to slip through the cracks on my return. Course there was a Mooney that crashed about an hour after I came in and I think that shook things up a bit. Overall I was very happy with the service. I'd recommend this FBO

We went to Jones Aviation after many times at Dolphin. The reception was extremely courteous and efficient. The building is not new but the personnel have a great attitude and were very helpful. Jones has been sold so the phone is answered, "Global Aviation" I will definitely make Jones my FBO of choice for Sarasota.

Great Service. I called 15 miles out and asked if they would make a call for me. No problem we would be glad to was the response. Arrived just are the skies opened up on a typical Florida afternoon. Line crew was great. Personnel at the Front desk were equally great. Left on Saturday morning. Bill and airplane were both ready as requested. My new place of choice for SRQ. Thanks again for the truly great service.

My wife and I flew our Archer into SRQ this week. Jones could not have been better. Despite the lack of a fancy new building, they were top notch. Gave us a ride to the hotel and even found my wife's sunglasses that had fallen into the trash can and tracked us down at the hotel. Could not have been nicer to us if we were flying a G5.

If you need a "fancy facility", go to Dolphin. If you want friendly staff that will do anything you need with a smile on their face, taxi a bit longer to Jones. Facilities are fine, service excellent. Used them this past weekend with wonderful results.
