Great friendly spot. Everyone was wonderfully helpful. I was running late for a meeting, and they had been monitoring approach for my tail number. They had my rental car next to the plane engine running, AC on and trunk open before the prop quit spinning. I had to repeat the trip the next day, and received the same treatment. If you want to pay through the nose you can go elsewhere. AirBoss discount is like the other guys self serve price. Great place will make this my Standard Stop in San Antonio from now on.

Great airport for 2 overnights at the Riverwalk. Eric was there to meet us with cold water, Jet A and a cab into town. 4 days later, called Kathy at 4pm and she was able to procure a rental car by the time we got there at 6pm. If you can handle the 4800' runway, then the fuel prices will not disappoint. Great pilot lounge facilities. I highly recommend San Antonio Aviation.

We flew in on July 04 to spend the night in San Antonio. I called the day before and Kathy told me that they would be closed for that day but she would be happy to come in and take care of us. The next morning I called again to update our arrival time. When we landed, Kathy was there with tie downs and cold water. She called a taxi for us and made sure that the driver would know where to go. The next day, Randy took care of our needs and we were on our way shortly after arriving at the airport. Thanks Kathy and Randy for taking care of us. We will be back.

Flew in on May 10 for overnight parking. Two fellows from San Antonio Aviation met the plane, took our bags, called for a taxi and handed us cold water before we had managed to walk across the ramp, and even then, one of them produced a golf cart before we got twenty yards. Nice.

I landed late one evening; the lineman was expecting me and brought the rental car to the airplane. I made my call to Lackland AFB the next day. The people were friendly, courteous, and helped me get on my way. The local tower was professional, again no hassles. The fuel was not the SAT high dollar costs. I recommend this airport and FBO for San Antonio visits.

I flew in Wednesday April 30 for a two-day conference. My C-172 was due for an oil change on arrival (which I had coordinated earlier in the week). Eric and the line guy were very helpful and were ready to begin work the moment I arrived. A taxi was available within minutes and I was on my way. My airplane was ready for me Saturday morning as promised and Randy had everything taken care of so that I was able to take off on schedule. 'Good service and reasonable fuel prices... I'll stop again when in the area.

Great work during the busy NCAA Final Four. Kathy had everything ready from rental cars and taxis to the airplanes being fueled and ready when we were. Price was right for fuel. Very friendly and helpful with everything we needed. We will definitely be back. Thank you for your hospitality.

This place was great and things couldn't have gone any smoother for our stay during the Final Four. Kathy & Randy both did a excellent job taking care of all our needs for our entire flight department of 4 aircraft. Jet fuel was $3.00 a gallon cheaper than KSAT and there were no delays in & out of the field. Everyone should give this FBO a try...great people, great service, enough said.

Outstanding service and very good prices. It’s amazing how the little things make loyal customers. Cab service was spotty during NBAA final 4, so they gave us the courtesy car instead of leaving us at the mercy of waiting up to an hour for a cab to show up. Cabs not withstanding, SSF is cheaper, easier and quicker to get in and out of than SAT.

Great service and fantastic prices. This airport is no farther from downtown than San Antonio International. The only problem is getting a cab out there. Call ahead by phone or by radio, and they will get a cab for you. The great service and fuel prices will make it worth your while!

I can't say enough about the great service I received here. I was greeted by the line personnel and the manager upon arrival; they helped me unload, and then tied the plane down. Upon departure, after a cold Thanksgiving weekend, I had a dead battery. Sam & Mike got me charged up- those guys were knowledgeable and great folks. Fuel prices at this full service FBO were better than the self-serve pumps I found en route. I can't say I've ever had better service at an FBO, anywhere.

Stopped into San Antonio Aviation 11/13 thru 11/14 for a conference at Randolph. Very attentive service - had us in the pre-arranged rental car within minutes of landing. The facilities are a bit lacking, but the necessities are there if you can squeeze past the flight school crowd. I would definitely reccommend them.

These guys go out of their way. Found room for the Pilatus fueled and ready to go as agreed. Good prices. Left my sunglasses, called, they searched and found them mailed them to me. I'll stop there when in San Antonio. Downtown is halfway between KSSF and International.

Very accommodating staff. I prearranged a rental car thru the FBO. It was there when I arrived. No hassle whatsoever. Met me at the airplane with the rental car. Very prompt and courteous service. Even called my attention to wheel pants dragging on the tire. They really care!

We only planned to stop for fuel, but then we stayed overnight in this beautiful town. Randy the manager did everything to help us out with transportation and a reasonable priced hotel in the downtown area. Definitely a place to recommend going. Good fuel price, too.

Great FBO! Arranged for rooms in town and rental car, which was there as the door from aircraft was dropped. Nice price on fuel. Left my flight jacket in the car and they mailed it to me the next day. Excellent service all around! Airport at one time.

I regularly travel to San Antonio on business, in my T210. I was routinely flying into KSAT and by chance happened upon KSSF and San Antonio Aviation. Not only are they professional, but friendly and courteous. The fuel is priced significantly below anything else around and always ready to go when I return. I am sold; I have not gone elsewhere since I found the great folks at SAA.

We were greeted within seconds of shutting off the engine and reminded of our previous arrangements for fuel and overnight hangar. Overnight hangar service was cheapest I've ever seen and fuel prices were very good. Upon arriving back at the airport the plane was out and ready for us, full of fuel as scheduled. I have found my regular FBO in San Antonio. This place was GREAT!!!!!

On a Cross Country from Orlando to Tucson I had the fortune to fall in the very accommodating hands and device of San Antonio Aviation. Fuel, rental car, directions and an emergency number to call any time of day or night were provided to me. From the time I shut down and spoke with the line lad, to the helpful and family feeling service received inside I was treated better than the Jet set! Many thanks.

I flew in on the 31st and didn't arrive until nearly 8 PM. The lineman stayed late to bring us the rental. There weren't any tie-downs left with ropes long enough for my 172 so we ended up with just the wings tied off. The lineman said he'd have someone move the plane the next day before the plane behind us left and that he'd have our plane topped off. Came back the next day and my plane wasn't moved, the tail wasn't tied off and the Pilatus was gone. My plane also hadn't been fueled. The counter person said she'd get things taken care of. She also gave us a key code to get in on Sunday along with instructions on how to get to the bathrooms. The company next door let us use their bathrooms. The final straw was that either the ramp crew failed to top off my right tank or someone had stolen about 4 gallons. The right tank was at the same level it was at when I parked the plane. All in all I'll be trying Check-Six the next time I go to Stinson.

I had called and reserved a car for my arrival at SSF. I had a long flight from Connecticut (more than 1, 400 NM). 50-knot headwinds and other bad weather lengthened my trip to over 13 hours. I was pleasantly surprised to find that two of San Antonio Aviation's staff were waiting for me after hours to help me with my bags and put my plane away and get me my car. No extra charge. That's what a pilot needs after a long and grueling flight. No hassles. I will definitely use them again next time.

I stopped for an overnight stay at San Antonio Aviation on May 2. Car was ready and delivered immediately to ramp. Line personnel moved my airplane from tiedown to hangar that evening to avoid heavy thunderstorm with hail. All personnel were friendly and most helpful. Highly recommended.

The World Beechcraft Society had its annual convention at SSF this past Feb 2006. We used SAA for our FBO and support. The people at SSF and at SAA were friendly, helpful, and always there for us. I will always use SSF and SAA in the future when coming into San Antonio.

I arrived at San Antonio Aviation on 1-24-06 to attend a trade show at the Convention Center. Apparently my transponder had stopped working, so I asked if they had any troubleshooting capability. The line staff was very attentive and Randy said he would look at the unit to diagnose the problem. That afternoon, I received a call and the problem with the transponder had been resolved. The airplane was hangared for a couple of nights as well and fuel was priced right. A very good experience to make me return.

TERRIFIC SERVICE... met us at the plane, had it fuel, tied down, a cab called, and a bottle of water in our hands before we could get our bags out - TERRIFIC. Briefing area leaves a bit to be desire, but is quite functional. This FBO models excellent service. I'll be back!

Flew in from Houston for an overnight stay in San Antonio. We booked the rental car online from Hertz. When we arrived the car was ready for us and the line came out and fueled the plane and tied us down. Very friendly, and helpful staff. Will use again.

Our group of 10 planes flew in from Ohio and stayed with San Antonio Aviation for 3 days. I had called ahead by several days to arrange for cars for all of us. They were always very helpful each time I called concerning the group's needs. They helped me to locate a good hotel that was close to the River Walk for all of us. They did a great job on short notice with a group of this size. Thanks. We would go to them again!

Stinson & SA Aviation are the secret coming into SA. Great service even if not open they respond with a quick phone call. Having Hertz available was seamless even on the weekend. Throw in the savings on gas. This is a no brainer
