Was planning a weekend stay arriving and departing after hours. Called before leaving to get info on parking and fuel. They advised that I park in front of the main terminal for easier access and lighting. Nice terminal. Called in Sunday morning for fuel and it was taken care of by the time I departed with the receipt at the plane so I didn't have to waste time. Good job!

Friendly service and easy access to San Antonio! I won't go back to SAT Intl again. Stinson is much easier and quicker.

Flew in Aug 5th for the weekend. Could not have picked a better place. Had cab for us to go to Riverwalk within minutes of unloading. Only problem I had was my own doing. Forgot baby stroller in the nose and Sheila brought it to our hotel for us. Thank You Very Much for going above and beyond. We will be back...Hopefully when/if it cools off!!

Exactly as all the other comments indicated. Great FBO, waiting with cool water after engine shutdown. Called before departing El Paso and they had rental car and hotel accommodations on RiverWalk all in place on arrival 3 hours later. Thanks for the great service Sheila!

We went down to the Riverwalk in San Antonio and I chose San Antonio Aviation from all the good comments I heard on AirNav. The service was excellent, personnel were overboard friendly and helpful. Prices were much better than International. All in all it was a great trip.

Stopped in for a business trip in a M20B. Rental car ready and waiting and very friendly and helpful service. Gas was a bit on the high side but cheapest for the area. The facilities are nothing to brag about but they work. Definitely recommend!

San Antonio Aviation was great on our weekend trip to San Antonio. Had a taxi waiting on us at arrival, parked us right by FBO to unload. Told us to call an hour before we were ready to leave. Had the plane pulled up and gassed, waiting on us. Good to do business with. SSF is surrounded by busy airspace, be prepared to navigate it if heading north.

We had a good experience here on a day trip into San Antonio. Fuel price was good, and as advertised (and a LOT less than at KSAT), and we were fueled quickly and correctly. They called us a cab, which whisked us to the River Walk area in 15 minutes. A great spot to stop, and the cafe in the terminal is a great breakfast & lunch stop Monday-Saturday. The funky fuel truck alone is worth the trip!

The other FBO may be equally excellent, but I will never know!! SAT Aviation was tops, period. Car? there! gate? open! fuel? as ordered! And, only 15 minutes from downtown/the Alamo/Riverwalk. I stayed at the Comfort Suites, wonderful location, rates, and first rate! San Antonio is a fun city, and a good place to just be warmer than NEB. In January. Maybe next year I will return and stay for two weeks!!!

As good as service gets. - Car reserved with one call, and it was at the plane before I had it shut down. Really. At departure time, fuel order filled, paperwork instantaneous, and they acted as if they wanted me back again. And, indeed, so I shall be!

We arrived late Saturday after the FBO closed. I called them Monday to request fuel and advise that we would be departing early Tuesday morning. They advised me that they would open a half hour early to accommodate our needs. They were great and didn't charge a ramp fee. Their fuel was fairly priced and courtesy top notch! We will use them again!

I arrived to pick up two passengers in a 421, and I knew I was going to have some trouble starting back up due to a dead battery that morning. I killed the left engine and sure enough it wouldn't restart. The crew at SAA came right out in their cart, plugged it in, and got me started right back up! They were great and I will be using them from now on when in the San Antonio area.

My family and I tie down here every time we come to San Antonio. Great service, very professional, ready to help with just about anything. Arrived last trip on Mother's day with an engine problem that was going to keep me grounded. Immediately started to arrange for commercial travel back home, but Randy and his crew got me taken care of quicker than I imagined. If I were based here, this would be my shop. Thanks guys!

I needed to go to San Antonio today and rent a car for a few hours. Castroville was the closest airport to my destination and I tried to rent a car there after the FBO closed. No luck with Avis or Enterprise. I decided to go to Stinson, called the FBO and got the owner. He could NOT have been nicer or more helpful. With about 3 hours notice I had a car waiting when I arrived. He helped load a few items in the car and was very fast with the rental paperwork. It could not have gone faster or smoother. Great friendly service! I will return every time I can. Thank you

Top Notch Service! Planned a fly-in for our Grumman type-club months ago when no other activities were scheduled on the field. The week before our event, the Collier Foundation chose the same Saturday to show up with a B-17, a B-24, a P-51 and a Huey, taking up all the parking in front of the terminal. Kathy at S.A. Aviation contacted me with the heads up. I spoke with Randy and he suggested parking our group down by the fuel tanks. Everything worked out great with Randy's help parking our planes. Couldn't ask for a nicer group of folks to do business with. Wish other FBO's would take lessons in customer service from them! Make it a point to visit them when in the area. You won't' be disappointed.

A+++++ service. These people love aviation and airplanes. On arrival excited to help us. Tracked down a rental car during spring break, not easy. That night hellacious unpredicted storm woke me from my sleep. So concerned I went to the airport to check my aircraft. Staff saw the storm and hangared the airplane. I had to argue with them to accept payment for that service since I hadn't requested it. Great people support them, a dying breed.

Wow...Showed up in a Bonanza and treated like we were in Air Force 1! Rental car at the plane before we could get the door open. Very helpful, fast, and reasonable fuel price...No tie down fee for a 4 night stay! This is THE place to go in San Antone!

Stopped in for NBAA Schedulers and Dispatchers. Randy and crew were very attentive. Took care of the plane when the weather was threatening and made sure we were fueled when they saw a flight plan filed. Rental car was plane side when we arrived. We WILL be back when in the area. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Our experience was on par with other recent reviews. Friendly courteous service, good fuel prices, big help with rental car, directions, luggage. Eric knew we didn't come to San Antonio to hang around the airport and did well to see that we were on our way quickly. This is a great airport and FBO to use to see the Riverwalk area. We were downtown in a flash. There were several good restaurants along the way to downtown.

Stayed in San Antonio for a few days recently and tied out at San Antonio Aviation. A little old school on the facilities but very nice and professional. Tie down was cheap and fuel was fairly priced. The location is a $20 cab ride to the River Walk. I will be back.

We flew into Stinson based on the positive comments and I am adding my positive comment as well. Extremely helpful with fuel, facilities and rental car. Provided helpful directions to get to our event. They also helped arrange overnight accommodations at the La Quinta, which is within 10 minutes of the airport. Great operation and we look forward to returning to San Antonio Aviation.

I was planning to go into San Antonio International on a family trip, but read comments on AirNav and compared fuel prices and fees. Was very happy with our decision to use SSF and this FBO. I stopped in on the 16th of March and was stuck due to weather. Kathy at San Antonio Aviation was really great in helping me to get the last room at the local LaQuinta. (At a pilot rate of $84/nite) Then to top it off she took me there and picked me up the next morning. Really great people, if you pass through well worth the stop.

A family emergency required a quick trip to San Antone. San Antonio Aviation arranged a car rental that met us on the ramp and they provided everything we needed on very short notice. You would have thought we were flying a G5 rather than an RV6. Thanks guys, we'll be back.
