I stopped in to STE needing very little. I had come in to pick up my family and in-laws. It wasn't until the right engine on the King Air wouldn't start that I was in need. Lorne came over and let us in to the terminal after closing and stayed with us until almost 2am until our shop could AOG an ignitor box up and we could get it changed out. He turned on the TV and lights, and brewed a pot of coffee. I can't say enough about how much my family and me appreciated his help. Outside of his outstanding service the FBO is tidy and up to date, the airport is more than adequate as far as runways and approaches go. It's quite a stop if you have business in the area.

Nice cross country stop. Lawrence stopped by when I had stopped for fuel @ the self serve on a Sunday when they are closed and insisted on fueling me up and then quite adamantly insisted on washing the windscreen. Thanks for the great service.

In for several day stay, again with our N900NE. Everything 'just right' as usual. Nice facility for pax and crew needs. Really good customer service. The local Enterprise rental car did not make it with our 2nd car, but we made do. Thanks for the good service.

This airport is the base for GTO (Gateway to Oshkosh). We spent five days there. The service was excellent and the airport manager insured we had everything we needed.

We stopped on a local area flight to change pilot seats and top off a 310. We were planning to buy about 100 gallons but the fuel price was $.15 higher than AirNav.Com "Guaranteed" price, which is what we were counting on. The new price was still reasonable but we ended up passing on the fuel and getting it at our home base. The service was friendly, the fuel price is very good.... Just call ahead to verify pricing.

This airport is the pinnacle of small town airports. Several instrument approaches including an ILS, new and modern FBO facilities complete with leather chairs in the sitting area, and a fresh pot of coffee always brewing. Add in someone always willing to talk airplanes and tremendous service from the line staff, and you've got it all.
