I recently stopped at Landmark and had a great experience. It was raining and the line guy was waiting as we pulled up on the ramp. We had an electrical issue and the service in getting a repair was exceptional. The line, office, and mechanical staff were very nice and accommodating. While we could easily have walked to our aircraft, the staff offered a van ride to the ramp and made it easy to take our luggage. Granted, the facility is a little confusing, especially the ramp access, however the service from people at Landmark made up for it.

This facility is substandard for a Landmark FBO. It is really cramped and in bad need of renovation. The ramp is confusing with multiple hangars each having their own ramp that do not communicated with each other (there are a few yards of grass between them, go figure!). Linemen were nowhere to be seen. It took a lot of effort to have the lady at the front-desk warm up a little bit. She was zealous in trying to apply a facility charge even though I was buying gas, fortunately the line guy told her to waive the fee... Considering that Exec Air and Landmark gas are priced within 3 cents of each other, I would not hurt trying the competition next time.

Dropped an Angel Flight patient at Landmark on the evening of 11/2/06. Ramp was dark, no line crews out and wasn't even sure if FBO was open. I was about to taxi to Exec when, out of the shadows, a lineman appeared with no illuminated wands or lighting to marshal me in. CSR at desk attempted to nail me for $35.00 ramp fee claiming she never heard of Angel Flight nor, allegedly, did the lineman. There are "only" 7000 pilots flying for Angel Flight America and these two had no clue!! After numerous phone calls, the CSR finally reached someone who instructed her to waive the ramp fee. Avgas posted at $4.54. Cramped, dark, converted hangar. Not a pleasant experience.

Stopped at SYR for a few hours, and selected Landmark without checking AirNav - for not buying fuel, and for parking for around 4 hours, they were going to charge me a $35 ramp fee. Waived with purchase of expensive fuel. I, personally, will try ExecAir the next time.
