Arrived at Roxboro after hours slowed by 50-60 knot headwinds. A very courteous gentleman waited for my arrival and got me set up with my rental car and helped with my luggage. I was treated like a biz jet owner and would definitely return to Roxboro.

Nice airport in a quiet area with absolutely top notch service. If you are going to Durham or Chapel Hill, it beats RDU any day, anytime.

Flew my Bonanza in to KDTF as alternative to Raleigh-Durham Airport (and its high fuel prices). Arrived just after the posted closing time but was greeted cheerfully. The facilities are clean and comfortable and the staff is very customer friendly. Airport is close to 15-501, a four-lane highway making it fairly easy to get to Durham, Raleigh or Chapel Hill. I will definitely make this my regular stop when traveling to Raleigh.

Excellent service! Clean, comfortable facility with internet computer/printer in pilot lounge. Incredibly easy in/easy out and a fantastic fuel price for Jet A. Give this airport a try instead of RDU - particularly if your destination is in Durham.

Had to divert here due to fog everywhere to the east but had I known there was such great hospitality, I would have planned to stop here. Great service, great weather planning facilities, and there were some homemade brownies that day as a plus!

Flew in Nov 17th and stayed for two days. Great airport, no tiedown fee (which is why I chose Roxboro instead of Chapel Hill; I know, cheapskate!), nice and clean. ILS is a plus. Highly recommended.

On a recent visit to the Roxboro area for business, it was necessary to wait at the airport until after dark in order to complete our Thermal Infrared mission in the area. Everyone at the airport was helpful and accommodating to our needs for food and services. Thanks to everyone for your above and beyond service we received. C.D. Holbrook, Holbrook Aviation Inc. If I were to tell you how impressed I was with Person County Airport, you'd think I was with the Chamber of Commerce. The runways are wide, smooth with obstructions (trees) cleared well away from the asphalt. Traffic was almost nonexistent, so landings and takeoffs are not delayed. Most importantly, this airport is dog friendly with great prices for fuel. The next time I transit the area, I'll stop in.

What a great place to stop with our 182!! The friendly and efficient staff will go out of their way to help and will inform you that fresh coffee is brewing two minutes after you indicate you want a coffee. Fuel price is very competitive. To top it off, rocking chairs are available on the front porch if you need to relax. We loved it!
