Planned to stop for fuel at Precision on Friday 8/22/08 in the afternoon. Unfortunately, due to a late departure earlier in the day, we did not arrive until after Precision was closed for the evening. We called Precision's phone after touching down and to our surprise, Robert answered and gladly offered to fill us up. Robert was extremely helpful and had us on our way in no time. We stopped by Sunday 8/24/08 on our return trip home and was greeted by Corky who was just as helpful and friendly. He offered us the courtesy car to run into town and had the plane fueled up and ready to go when we returned. Can't say enough good things about these guys and look forward to stopping back on future trips!

I arrived at KTIP at about 07:45am on Sunday 8/10/08 and was met in front of the hangar before I could even get shut down. We were delivering a beautiful Stearman up north and had oil pressure issues, Corky was eager to help and gave us excellent assistance with cleaning the oil screen and cleaning up the aircraft afterwards as well as topping up our fuel. I not only received excellent service but feel as though I made a new friend. I would highly recommend visiting Rantoul and Precision Aviation. Corky is an asset to Precision

I found ample parking and tie downs available on the main ramp directly in front of the FBO (Precision Aviation). We walked into the FBO and were immediately greeted by a friendly member of the facility. We were offered the use of a courtesy car without even asking. We were never asked to pay or contribute to any type of vehicle maintenance fund. Additionally, even though the 172 I was flying only required slightly more then 10 gallons of gas the line employee of the FBO never seemed like I was bothering him with such a trivial service request and he was happy to comply. To top it all off I was never asked to pay a parking fee. The purpose of my visit, a trip to the adjacent aerospace museum, was not a disappointment. A departure greeting on Unicom from the line service employee was a nice final touch after an all around wonderful experience with this airport and FBO. I would recommend this FBO and airport to anyone looking for a refueling stop or a day of exploration in the local area
