Probably the nicest small airport I've ever been to. Several courtesy car keys were on the counter, self-serve pumps and super nice terminal building. Airport is right in town and would be an easy 1/4 walk to a hotel or place to grab a bite to eat. I'll go out of my way to stop here again.

KTKX was our half waypoint on a flight from KS to NC. What a gem! Their fuel price you can't beat, courtesy cars...Pick a key, sign it out, and go. And a lovely, bright, neat and clean FBO. Had lunch at McCormick's.. Great food! Kennett's on my "I shall return" list!

I stop here regularly for the least expensive fuel around. The FBO is modern and clean. I called prior to landing and the off duty manager informed me where the crew car key was hidden and we stayed overnight at the Days' Inn. The motel parking lot had another Kennett Airport crew car, so the airport brings business to the city.

Great little airport. Easy in and out. Very clean modern terminal & restrooms. Self-service fuel facility has excellent access and the CC machine is easy to use. Prices are as posted on AirNav & remain one of the best prices for fuel anywhere. Good flight planning computer and a spacious pilot lounge. There are 3 loaner cars for a run for food or supplies. Fast food available just off the airport. Soft Drinks, candy bars & Snacks are available in the terminal. Great stop! An airport managed by pilots for GA! Keep up the great work!

Kennett was my first fuel stop on a trip from Charlotte to Las Vegas this week. Easy in, easy out, and surprisingly, not too crowded. I waited for a Beech Sport to finish fueling, and then pulled right up. No one after us. Indoors, you've got computers clean restrooms and all else you need. Jonesboro Radio picked up our transmission on 122.2 almost immediately after departure.

TKX was the first stop on a recent cross-country trip for my family. It was Sunday, and no one was around, but the FBO building was open. Great facility and great fuel price! Having access to the courtesy cars was a boon to feed the voracious young'ns! Wouldn't hesitate to stop here again!

Great general aviation airport. Very friendly folks offered to let us borrow their courtesy car when they saw my wife was about to walk to McD's. Great fuel price. Clean facility with a kitchen and pilot room. This is our traditional stop when flying between Tulsa and Knoxville. Will continue to use it as our fuel and break stop.

As advertised below. Excellent, inexpensive fuel stop. The facilities seemed brand new and top notch, BUT since everyone knows where the cheap fuel is these days, be prepared to wait your turn for the SS pump.

Stopped in today for food and fuel only to find that they now have two new/used crew cars. A Ford sedan and a Chevy SUV in real nice shape. They where changing over the license plates to the Chevy so we had to take the Ford. Much inprovement from the old vans.

Found Kennett by chance a while back. I try to stop there any chance I am ferrying a plane across the country. Good fuel price. Great access to a good FBO facility and can get a loaner car at odd hours when traveling late. Nothing fancy in Kennett but an easy stop.

Nice stop. Courtesy car keys are left out for you to use (don't lock the green van). Facilities were nice, fuel was cheap, and restaurants are close by. This is one of those airports to keep in your back pocket in case you need to make a stop somewhere for weather etc.

Have used TKX for years with excellent even service and lowest fuel prices. Airport cars have always been available. Motels and restaurants are close by. Nice FBO with all amenities needed by a pilot(s) and passengers.

Arrived at 11pm parked and walked 6 minutes to food and our hotel. The terminal building was open with weather services and bathrooms. The runway lighting is outstanding. This is some of the cheapest 100LL around. Why can't more stops be this good?

We have been to Kennett now for over 6 years for fuel stops whenever heading South from Wisconsin (which happens 3 or 4 times a year). As other reviewers point out the fuel is very competitively priced (I don't like to say "cheap"), the facilities are very, very nice, the courtesy cars are a great plus and the GPS approaches certainly help in the winter months and during summer storms. Not really a secret amongst cross country fliers. More often than not we had to stand in line with our Aztec or Chieftain to get to the pump. Gives you time to chat with the friendly people who run the place.

I stop here many times during the year. I wish they would put a rubber cover on the 100LL nozzle. I realize the nozzle sits in a pipe stand but it's open to collect dirt from the elements.

Great stop. Cheap 100 LL self serve. Runway in great shape. Building looks to be nearly brand new. Made this my midway stop on an XC both going and returning. Thanks AirNav reviewers for the tip!!

It has been a few years and this stop is still one of my favourite cross country stops. The building is clean, air conditioned with all the amenities, the runways are in excellent shape and the fuel is cheap. One of the best in my book.

What a find! Cheap fuel and a new, large facility that is open 24-7. They even had crew cars you could sign out yourself and oil in the cabinet, if needed. The Days Inn is an easy walk, as are several restaurants. Las Margaritas was good.

Cheap fuel. (Bonding cable is short so pull up close). Nice self-serve FBO when nobody's home. Big ol' long runway on delta flat land. No AWOS/ASOS. Fast food within sight if you can get to it. I didn't try. Good stop!
