Flew in for a family medical emergency Sat. Aug. 27th. Called ahead about availability of a courtesy car. Steve, Gorge Winds, waited after hours for our arrival. Car was waiting with engine running! $2 overnight fee. 1st class experience. Thank you Gorge Winds for terrific service above the call of duty.

Stopped in to pick up an Angel Flight passenger. Quick, friendly service, and an offer of the crew car to pick up lunch at the nearby Wendy's. Thanks!!

Corrine Mello and Mike Goble at Gorge Winds Aviation are just about the friendliest folks you are ever going to meet! Hertz cars are also available - We were picked up at the FBO, then driven to the Hertz office for paperwork; dropped the car and keys at the FBO before our departure. $2/night tie-down fee, comfortable/clean lounge with pilot supplies available, and a good location off I-84 for the drive into Portland. Happy Birthday, Corrine, and thanks for the great service.

Very pleasant visit to Gorge Winds last week. Planned to arrive late, FBO provided someone to meet me for $40 (which seemed reasonable to me). Arrived 40 minutes later than planned, no hassle. FBO has Avis cars on the field, rented one for $35 / day and got a nice small SUV with plenty of room. Returned it a bit after their closing time the next day, again, no problem. Everyone was very welcoming, fuel price was fair, overall a great experience.

Stopped at Gorge Winds FBO at Troutdale to get some fuel and check weather headed to Texas from Spanaway. Friendly staff greeted us with the fuel truck as we shut down and talked aviation while waiting for weather to blow through. Great stop and clean facilities!

We too had a very good experience at Gorge Winds Aviation. I think it's important to note that we arrived well after their closing time--and we needed to park our Piper Arrow overnight and get to our hotel--long flight from L.A.! The transient ramp was pretty full, so we'd unknowingly parked in the flight school's area. But Marv Woidyla, whom I believe is the FBO manager, was leaving to go home. Not only did he OK our parking where we did, but also in his own car he drove us to our hotel; and as I'd said, this was all after closing time. Now get this: he also offered to pick us up the next morning, and he was there within minutes of our call to his cell phone. And dropped us off right at our airplane. He also made rental car arrangements for one of our passengers who was staying in the Portland area for a few days. Now that's service! We'll sure land at TTD for our next Portland trip, and we'll definitely park at Gorge Winds again...Thanks again, Marv, for your friendly, wonderful service!

Nice FBO with great service. They let us borrow the courtesy car to run into Portland. I will definitely be returning to Gorge Winds Aviation when I go back to KTTD.

Flew in w/ a friend in a TBM-850 on a cool rainy afternoon. Despite the rain, ground crew was there to guide us into a parking spot. They had the plane fueled quickly and at a good price. The crew car was gone, so the owner (?) graciously offered to run us to the nearby Wendy's so we could feed ourselves and be back in the air for our return leg to Scottsdale. If flying in the area w/ my own A/C, I'd definitely make this stop at the top of my list.
