Stopped in last night to visit family since it's been so hot during the day as of late. I grew up in this area but this was my first time using the airport (newly minted pilot), and also first visits back in a few years. What a great little airport! Pilot lounge is open 24/7, air-conditioned, restrooms, TV, computers, snacks and drinks on the honor system. Kathy does a great job with this place; she even popped in and said hi. I think she was surprised to see us in the lounge so late. The self-service fueling area was very well lit, tow bar, ladders, etc. Available for use. This airport is a good example of how GA should be!

Another pleasant visit to this friendly airport for fuel and food. What more can you ask than friendly people, good service, a courtesy car and nearby good restaurants? They have it all.

We made a fuel stop at Centerville on our way back from a long 2 week adventure. What a treat. We asked for "Kathy the Airport Goddess" and there she was: friendly and smiling. We were about to ask for the courtesy car and she invited us to lunch of ham salad and chicken salad sandwiches and home made zucchini bread. Then she loaded us up with fresh veggies from her garden for our return trip home. I wish she were closer to home so we could stop more often. Kathy is THE GREATEST! Thanks for a great stop!

Fantastic airport to drop into. I dropped in due to high winds and turbulence (and later a tornado a bit up north) and found this gem of an airport. The facilities are wonderful and everything they say about Kathy being an airport goddess is true. Took the airport car into town to the fast food places, and also made use of the food and pop stash at the airport. This place is a true GA airport as they were when I was growing up in Mn and I highly recommend that you drop in and visit yourself. The Gas prices are right with all the prices I have paid on this trip from DC to Denver!!

Airport goddess Kathy Bratz oversees a very hospitable operation at Centerville. A comfortable lounge area with honor system snacks and sodas, open even when unattended. A Wx terminal in the back room. The modern and well-maintained fueling equipment facilitates trouble-free self-service operation; Kathy will do the fueling if you'd prefer. On our latest visit the courtesy car was begging for a brake job and some engine work, but the old tank valiantly lugged us into town to lunch and back with two grandkids, so who could complain? We landed on our way to the Twin Cities and again on our way back home to Arkansas on the holiday weekend. Next trip we'll plan to arrive when excellent Manhattan Buffet is open (they lock up from 2 to 4:30 weekdays); they're about 3 miles up the road. Centerville's fuel prices are always among the most reasonable in this part of the country.

Excellent 24 hour pumps! I arrived after midnight to find it well-lighted and in new condition. They even had the pilot's lounge open with refreshments on the honor system and a computerized weather terminal available for use. I would definitely stop here again.
