Great fuel stop. We stopped with a King Air E90 and the service and fuel price were great. Runway and taxiways are in very good condition, and the terminal building/FBO was very nice. We will be back.

Good service, courteous. Would stop there again and enjoy their pilot lounge and planning area.

Great stop in western Tennessee. FBO is clean and comfortable. People were ready to help even before we landed. Excellent runway. A perfect stop if in the area. Fuel prices were best so far on cross-country trip

We searched AirNav for a suitable stop between APF and DVN that would permit us to get over and beyond an extensive weather system affecting the Florida Panhandle, Georgia, and Alabama on May 5, 2009. We received immediate attention from JB. He was extremely pleasant and made certain we got a quick turn. JB could not have been more helpful. Runway and taxiways are in great shape and well marked. The airport, terminal, and surrounding area were attractive. For our purposes, we are pleased by our UCY experience, and will bring our 421 there again.

Stopped for fuel and had to remain overnight for weather. Nice facilities, but difficult to find ground transportation and it's expensive if you do find it. Airport staff would not allow overnight use of courtesy van to get to hotel, despite it being an empty airport on a Saturday evening. Jet fuel pump was also inop. Suggest Kennett, MO as a better stop. Cheaper fuel, and comments indicate they might be more helpful if you find yourself grounded.. No ILS, though.

Response from Jo Ann Speer, Manager, Everett-Stewart Regional Airport
I apologize for the inconvenience that was experienced regarding the use of the courtesy van. The van is courtesy of Herman Jenkins Motors for trips into town; however, can't be let out over night. It is frustrating to learn that we have let someone down. We attempt to make every effort possible to accommodate our transient pilots. I have driven from my home (round trip is 35 miles) in the wee hours of the night to transport stranded pilots to a hotel. Our linemen will generally offer to "run someone into town" as soon as their shift is over. To compound the situation we also experienced problems with our Jet A pump. That problem has been remedied. Most of our customers compliment our facilities and service. We take offer competitive fuel prices and strive to make your visit to our area a positive experience BECAUSE WE CARE.

We have received an extremely professional response to our concerns by the manager: Jo Ann Speer. Our discount is being credited back to us, and I am confident that our next visit to this airport will be a great experience.

The young man attending the pumps fueled our aircraft without complaint (even though it was very windy). However, when I asked about AirBoss, he looked at me like he didn't know what I was talking about. I said it was a discount program and asked if they were in the program or other discount programs. He didn't think so, and I assumed that I'd made a mistake--so I paid the regular low price. I see they are offering AirBoss prices here on AirNav.Com, but you may need to talk to a manager in order to get the savings. Also, our fuel caps are clearly marked with an arrow and manufacturer stamped instructions to show which way faces "FORWARD"--out of four fuel caps, the young man got two of them on correctly. Perhaps additional supervision & training is needed.

I am a King Air 90 driver and Union City was a great fuel stop for me. The staff was professional and friendly and went out of their way to make us comfortable. Well-maintained runway, taxiways and FBO. Strongly recommend.
