We used Wilkes County as a fuel stop the day before Thanksgiving. The service was quick and fuel price was very good. Will be back.

Stopped here for fuel on a long trip to Texas. The service was fast and efficient, and fuel price was good. This is a nice airport with friendly folks and good service.

I arrived there yesterday on an Angel Flight, and the guy (don't remember his name) was prompt and very nice with fuel. The eye-opening thing there was the amount of birds on the runway during landing and takeoff. I was fearful that we would hit one landing, taxiing, and on takeoff. Fortunately, nothing bad happened, and perhaps it was a fluke thing since they had just finished mowing but it felt like hundreds of birds on the runway...

This was our fuel stop on our way from Baltimore to Atlanta on April 5. This is a great place to stop in a very picturesque setting, with a very nice long runway and an ILS. Friendly people gave us a quick turn and good fuel price. Nice facilities.
