My issue was not with Victoria Regional Airport as they were helpful with my instructor and I as we were on an instrument cross country flight to KVCT specifically to eat at the Sky Grille. Their advertised closing time was 10PM. We arrived at the restaurant at 9PM and the staff was already closing down for the night. Very frustrating and my instructor used language that I cannot repeat here. Very frustrating and I will not return.

Outstanding service. We were able to get fuel after hours by coordinating ahead, and we were met with the lineman well after their hours on a Sunday. No issues at all with getting service providing you arrange it prior. A good flight planning area and excellent restaurant is close by that you can get a crew car for (it's walking distance, but it's too hot to walk on most days). Thank you VCT!

As far as the last comment, Enterprise sucks pretty much everywhere; you can't really blame it on KVCT. I've been based here for a year now, and I have yet to be disappointed. Mike, Robert, Melissa, Rafael, Fred, Jason I can't believe you guys haven't gotten more good comments on here! You all do great work, keep it up!

Had reservation with Enterprise for car. Guess what? No car. No answer on phone. Fri night high and dry with no car! Good thing I have relatives here or I would have got back in the plane and gone home. Enterprise is a joke!!

The line service here is good. The facilities are small, but very nice. They appeared to have at least 2 crew cars in decent shape, but I didn't use them. The abundance of runways insures you'll never have much of an x-wind landing although some of the other (paved) runways looks like they need to be mowed occasionally. The tower controllers were friendly and helpful.

I've been flying to VCT every 2 weeks for 11 years. The FBO is outstanding. Great staff. Best fuel prices in Texas.
