Sorry to say folks, but Sharky's is old and full of burned oil, the oil needs changing along with the people, I know what your thinking its a nice place for a plane ride, close to the water, the beach is picked clean of everything from shells to the famous shark teeth you hear so much about. The entrance from the beach to Sharky's is through the garbage waste facility to get in, you walk past oil, garbage and stench from the container cans, to get to the tables please wear shoes if you try this or the used oil will blacken your feet, its not worth the 2 mile walk and yes it is 2 miles, from Jet Center to Sharky's 2 miles, the book says one half, not so. If its a been there and done that thing, than try it out. Should I comment about the food at Sharky's, well it’s living well past its reputation for good food. Last comment, Dirty, Dirty, Dirty

Great restaurant, wife and I rode our bikes from VNC, though it would be an easy walk. Enjoyed the sunset over cocktails and boiled shrimp. Great service.

Shuttle services are no longer provided. A short pleasurable walk over during winter, but miserable during summer due to heat, cabs rides are cheap ($6). Food, service and atmosphere are still great. A great destination for a $100 burger.
