Nice airport and facility. The only issue I had was with Enterprise rental car. After landing I called to be picked up and was driven to the Enterprise office about 1.5 mile down the road. I was planning to return the car after the office closing hours by leaving it at a marked parking spot on the airport. At that point the counter person said I could not leave the car at the airport after hours due to a FBO insurance limitation. This meant I had to drop the car at the office and walk the 1.5 miles back to the airport. I was not happy to say the least; especially since an Avis location was almost within view of the FBO. If you rent from Enterprise make sure they will let you leave the car at the airport after hours.

I have business in the Newark-Heath area. I flew into the Newark-Heath airport and was warmly greeted by Mike and the line crew. I needed to use some of the facilities for an appointment. All the folks at Aviation Works were extremely helpful including making hotel reservations and providing me transportation to and from the hotel. George the FBO owner was very helpful as well. Very pleasant experience, I hope to visit them again!

Stop was pleasant enough but there is no self serve fuel even though the pumps and credit card machine are in place. So don't plan any after hour fueling. Also, no DUATS terminal although they do have a contract weather software system available. When I asked to use a computer to get to DUATS to compute and file a flight plan the new owner said none were available.

Arrived 9/3/05, and departed 9/5. Traveling with my family and had a very pleasant experience. They did charge $10 for tie-down, but their attitude more than made up for it. If you don't mind parking in the grass, it's a perfect place.

I had a great visit here. The gas was very cheap compared to my home field. Everyone was helpful and the courtesy vehicle was no charge. All went well for me.
