I recently did a check ride to rent a 172SP for my every six month trip to Ohio to see family. Harold, Tim and the rest of Aviation Works for a great experience. 172SP was in great shape, Harold was very helpful in remembering my way around the CMH airspace and we even got a friendly greeting from Shelly the FBO pooch after shutdown. A nice, easy airport to fly out of with a comfy FBO.

Very nice little airport. Arrived on Sunday to greetings of Airport manager directing parking. He and the Gas attendant / Tugger, very pleasant and respectful. Tie-down for 2 nights for free with 16 gals of 100LL. Fuel more expensive than other places I've been to last month, and was disappointed with no Self Service option, even with the credit card machine right there. All in all a nice plain little airport.

This FBO is ok if you have to go to Newark but otherwise many things are lacking. Fuel is full service only even though pump looks self and there are no signs at all saying so (there is even a credit card machine). Facilities are limited to just a weather computer. Fueling and getting oil is a very slow paced event met with quite unenthusiastic staff. Just mediocre.

Nice airport and facility. The only issue I had was with Enterprise rental car. After landing I called to be picked up and was driven to the Enterprise office about 1.5 mile down the road. I was planning to return the car after the office closing hours by leaving it at a marked parking spot on the airport. At that point the counter person said I could not leave the car at the airport after hours due to a FBO insurance limitation. This meant I had to drop the car at the office and walk the 1.5 miles back to the airport. I was not happy to say the least; especially since an Avis location was almost within view of the FBO. If you rent from Enterprise make sure they will let you leave the car at the airport after hours.

I have business in the Newark-Heath area. I flew into the Newark-Heath airport and was warmly greeted by Mike and the line crew. I needed to use some of the facilities for an appointment. All the folks at Aviation Works were extremely helpful including making hotel reservations and providing me transportation to and from the hotel. George the FBO owner was very helpful as well. Very pleasant experience, I hope to visit them again!
