Fuel price was not as expected (@ $.40/gal higher) Arrived @ noon, attendant was there, but on lunch break, could not get fuel till 1 o'clock, no help with tie down or positioning airplane. Will only go back of necessity.

Worst airport stop ever. I couldn't find anyone in or around the FBO. Restrooms were poor & no place for flight planning. When I went to the restaurant at the street side, I asked the waitress where I get fuel. She directed me to the man behind the cash register. After waiting about 5 minutes for him to get off his cell phone with his buddy, I got the what do you want look. I asked him how I get fuel and he said they don't do fuel on Mondays. After explaining I had just flown 400 miles and needed fuel, he told me he wasn't even supposed to be working that day. He told me he would give me fuel after 1:00. I said that would be fine, we would eat first and then see him at 1:00. After being served by a waitress with an attitude, I went back to the counter at 12:55 and told my new "friend" I would meet him downstairs in five minutes. He handed me the keys to the pump and I quote, "If you want to pump it yourself, I don't give a shit" as he handed me the keys to the pump. That's what I did.

Excellent experience at Greene County. Stopped for fuel here because AirNav reported restaurant on the field. The restaurant was very busy with locals at 1230. I was seated promptly, served a great lunch, and fueled up immediatly when finished eating. Nice small field experience.

Stopped here unplanned, as remaining fuel got lower than comfortable while on a return flight from Maryland to Ohio. Selected this airport since I had recalled from prior AirNav fuel searches that they usually have one of the lower fuel prices in the area and that turned out to be the case. Fuel service at the pump was prompt and friendly although the lineman had a little difficulty with operating their newer credit card processing device. Fuel price of $3.499 was prominently posted throughout the terminal bldg. Didn't get to try the restaurant located on the 2nd floor that included a small outside balcony overlooking the field. It appeared to the typical basic "small airport diner" type -- might have to stop and check it out another time.

I thought a fuel price ($3.00) posted only 2 weeks ago would be good since nothing has changed economically. I had 56 gallons pumped, the lineman then told me the price was $3.50 and stated he should have told me before pumping. The owner raised the price a couple days ago to be more congruent with neighboring airfields! Since fields have no requirement to update AirNav, it is up to us. I will always call ahead in the future.
