12/30/2011 - Flew into Mile High specifically for lunch. It was a little difficult to see the airport, but not terrible. Runway is tight and the taxiway is even tighter. We arrived at 1300 on a Friday and the Cafe was about 90% full. Inside is smaller with about 20+- tables, plus there was an outside enclosed eating area. Staff was very friendly and you definitely felt at home. WOW - the food was really good. Probably one of the best Patty Melts I have had in a while (the patty was about 1" tall - nice). My daughter had a burger that was probably 6" x 1" and a huge pile of fries. She was only able to eat about ½ of the plate and I almost finished all of mine. They also had a list of about 10 items on the daily special board that all looked pretty tasty. Anyway - lots of food, prepared very well and the bill for the two of us was about $21. Definitely will put them on the list of places to go back to. Gas was also very convenient with the pump just outside of the cafe.

Well of course I am biased, this is my home airport. But I love to fly on Saturday morning and then have breakfast and watch all the planes fly in. And trust me Saturday mornings are always busy.

Hadn't been to L26 in awhile. Cafe was just as I remembered. Great food, good portions at very fair prices. Wait staff was wonderful. You won't leave hungry.

I flew in to the airport today...Pros- Good food great service, homes adjacent to runway...That is always cool. Cons- The taxiway from the restaurant to Rwy -03 is VERY bumpy in a Mooney. Taxi slow...

What a great restaurant! There's indoor or outdoor seating and it has great aviation atmosphere. I liked the airline seats they have in the lobby. All the waitresses were very friendly and gave great service. The prices were good. Make sure you try the broccoli bacon omelet. It's better than it sounds, trust me!!

This place is a diamond in the rough. Great food and plenty of it breakfast or lunch. Very nice outdoors seating available too. Waitresses have always been the best, even when busy.

Landed at 1pm 100F with airsick passengers due to afternoon bumps. The restaurant was absolutely so kind they got them cold drinks, fruit and the worlds best fries ahead of some nice people that were already waiting in the restaurant. Many thanks!! The fuel was best price around and as posted on AirNav. The runway is in need of repair with weeds growing in the cracks and there is quite a grade to the runway so be informed.

We stopped for fuel on our way to Arizona and had an awesome breakfast! Needless to say, we stopped there on our return for another awesome breakfast. Oh, we refueled too.
