Great improvements to the main runway! Many thanks to the Airport Manager and his wife for helping me out during my stay there. They even plugged my aircraft engine heater in for me on the last night of my stay. Above and beyond service and friendliness.
Quiet airport, but very friendly and helpful staff. We flew in and stayed in Aztec for the night. The guy at the FBO took us down to a motel in town and pointed out some restaurants for us. One note of warning: They do not accept credit cards here. We wrote them a check.
Stopped there at 4 PM -- no one around. No one answered the door, no one answered the phone, no way to get gas, no access to restrooms. Much better service at Animas.
