Brought two canine pax in 8/16, nice facility, very friendly and great fuel prices. Even at 3500 you cannot see this field at all when approaching from the south until you're on base for 23, radar service is spotty below 3500. SS fuel is at the NE ramp, you have to take the runway to get to the SW ramp where the FBO is. Excellent facility, well maintained, marked and lighted.

Flew up to N27 today for the Pancake breakfast. The folks here were very friendly and provided a great breakfast. Didn't need fuel But I heard talk of it being reasonable. They have a great facility here very new and clean.

Needed to run an errand to a nearby town and could not have had a better experience! Arrived around 9am to the warm smell of pancakes, eggs, sausage and ham. It was the local pilot's association semi-annual, all you can eat breakfast. Not only were there many fly-in guests, there were hundreds from the surrounding community. The hangar was converted to cafeteria-style seating. Plenty of seating, virtually no waiting. The courtesy car was no longer among the living but one of the locals was kind enough to lend us his truck to complete the errand (Thanks Carl!) Facilities were comfortable and super clean. Reasonable (almost cheap) self-serve avgas available on the ramp. Definitely will visit again (at the next pancake breakfast!)

Best gas price around. The avgas is by the brown building NOT by the large white tanks (Jet Fuel). The lady was very helpful and even loaned me a car to get some breakfast. Will make this a stop on every southern trip!

This is 24 hour self service fuel.
