A nicely kept small "nook" w soft couches makes one feel welcome at this olde-school local field. While it was 30f and dank outside, punching in the code as instructed into the door lock let me access a warm and clean refuge. Bathrooms were clean and there was just a good vibe to the place. Self-serve fuel had a sox foot ladder that worked fine for this high wing owner, and the price was very reasonable. Restaurant upstairs was open and we enjoyed a good meal before heading home. Vincent does a nice job.

I am a semi regular visitor to N30 and I try to support the airport by purchasing fuel on some of my visits. Fuel prices are usually very competitive but it can be difficult to refuel high wind aircraft since the only ladder provided is a 3' stepladder. Most pilots need to stand on the very top of the ladder to be high enough to refuel which is precarious. Just for context I am a fit 6'3" tall pilot and I found it difficult to refuel during my last visit on Monday.
