Great airport. Flew in on a nice Sunday for lunch. Highly recommend the airport and restaurant. It's great there were so many planes in the pattern, just make sure to keep your eyes and ears open. Also, even on the VASI glide path to runway 7, you are not too high above the power lines on final. Overall, great airport

Flew the Mooney in last night for 20 gallons of Avgas. N40 is a beautiful airport, Rwy 7 is excellent for night landings and, the restaurant is 2nd to none. Sky Manor used to be the cheapest in town but now, at $5.34 it's only so, so. And, they no longer take AMEX. Both hose recoil chains were broken so the hoses were all over the tarmac. I have yet to figure out exactly how the fuel pump works because this morning I see I have a $600 charge on my MasterCard for twenty gallons - I guess, like last time, the charge will get fixed but I think it's a strange way to charge a credit card. Despite the squawks, it's still one of my favorites.Response from Paul Ruo, Sky Manor Airport We apologize for the hoses. We blew a circuit and it will be repaired early next week. Next time you have a problem with the airport, please contact us at n40questions@skymanorairport.com and we will address your concerns immediately. We strive to be among the lowest in the area for fuel prices. You can always rest assured that we are always within a few pennies of the lowest around. With regards to the automated fuel terminal: Here's a hint: If you choose "FILL-UP" the credit card machine will authorize and HOLD $600 until it "settles" with the actual amount pumped within 24 to 48 hours. If you choose "Nr. of GALLONS", your card will be authorized AND charged for the amount of gallons (X the price/gal) that you have chosen. Thank you!!! Sky Manor Airport.

Visited for lunch and left my chocks at the fuel pump. Paul and Craig were happy enough to hunt them down and send them to me. Great GA airport, the way it's supposed to be. Thanks Sky Manor.

The airport is nicely run. Excellent prices on self-serve fuel. Restaurant has nice people, great views of the runway, food is very good. Prices very reasonable. If you visit in spring you might even catch hot air balloons while you have some breakfast.

Still a great airport to stop at for the $100 hamburger or plate of eggs. The self-service fuel worked great and there is ample parking. Would stop again.

Great airport. Flew in with eight planes from Keystone Flight to stage for a Hudson River excursion. No problems with ramp space or getting fueled up. Easy to use self-service pump.
