Flew in for lunch at the NU-CAVU with 13 other airplanes. Yes, 14 planes total. Credit card reader wasn't working when we arrived but was soon fixed before we left. Nice grass roots airport. We will be returning in the future.

We flew in on this chilly, blustery fall day to have lunch at the CAVU...As the previous post indicated, fuel was inexpensive, but pump was a pain. They adjusted it to now pump $300.00 in one credit card swipe. After that, you need to "see front desk" or use a different credit card. In that there was no one there, we could not find the "front Desk" In addition, the machine would not print a receipt, again referring us to the non existent "front desk" Other than that, all was good. Airport is a quaint little old school strip, with a super nice little restaurant.

Stopped at N45 for fuel because it was the lowest advertised. The pump is slightly confusing at first. There are two sides to the pump. One side has a hose for fueling cars. The other (north) side of the pump is the one for fueling the aircraft. Make sure to swipe your card on the north side pump. Also, this pump limits you to just $75 at a time. Then you need to swipe your card again. I had to swipe my card 4 times to top off. It's a bit of a pain when you're fueling a high wing Cessna. Not sure I'll go back (for fuel only). The restaurant looked nice. Use caution for tall trees on both ends of the field.
