Visited Bellefonte for the historic nature of the field with the KEYSTONE FLIGHT of FIVE Cessna's on Sunday, Oct 5th, 2008. Super friendly owners there - worth a visit just to say "hello" as we did. We are looking forward to the upstairs restaurant re-opening! Hurry! Wonderful little airfield to bring back that nostalgic "general aviation" spirit! MM

7Jul07 Received exceptionally friendly service when I diverted to Bellefonte because UNV was closed for an accident investigation. Nice restaurant upstairs in the FBO although you may not notice it on first glance. Because they do not accept credit cards they offered to refuel me and have me send a check when I returned home. Wow!

Friendly, old-fashioned airport a stone's throw from the bigger University Park, this is the perfect place to go if you enjoy having a conversation with the locals. Proprietor Marina Elnitski gave us a ride into town (charming Bellefonte is a few miles), picked us up when we were ready to return and told us about the town en route. Fuel was cash only; they had no credit card machine.
