Campground is north of rwy 11-29 (turf rwy) and is well marked from rwy 17-35. Nice, clean facilities. There were very few campers on Labor Day weekend. I counted only 8 or 9 aircraft on Saturday night. Fee is still $8/night. There's a drop tube near the showers. As you are walking into town, the first restaurant you'll come to is The Frosty. If you arrive late, as we did, and can't wait to eat, this place is pretty good. It was certainly better than I was expecting from the looks of it. I had a delicious bleu cheese burger.

We come up for the camping once or twice a year. Nice facilities, Showers, water, picnic benches, and lots of trees for shade cover. Small hike the town and had dinner at El Jardin Mexican restaurant. This time was a little out of the ordinary as there was a fire and the grass runway was being used as a staging area for 4 Erickson Air-Cranes, Cobra, Huey, and all the support equipment. We were able to get up close and take lots of pictures.

We came in for an overnighter and found the campground empty. We have been there before and again enjoyed their great scenery and facilities. Just don't forget the bug spray! Camping was $8 per night/plane.
