What a fantastic experience! Aviation Services is part of Pratt Aviation on Merrill Field and offers both maintenance and the cheapest avgas in Anchorage. Not to mention the fact that John Pratt is an ace mechanic! Definitely worth heading over to transient parking on Charlie taxiway to gas up! Thanks John!
This is a SS pump near the Charlie Transient Parking. The parking is controlled by the airport authority at a cost of $5/day. There aren't any full service FBOs at Merrill and PANC really discourages longer term parking for GA. There is an office across from the ramp area where you can pay for your parking and use the bathroom 24/7 even though it is only attended during business hours. Also a weather terminal there.
