Flew into Madras airport from Redmond, after taking some local friends up sightseeing. The newly built FBO is one of the best facilities I've visited. Great lounge, showers, supplies, courtesy car and meeting room. The vintage WW II photos worth the trip alone. Very hospitable owners, we'll definitely be back for the Airshow in August.

Rob, Tom, & Tria super friendly and accommodating. $3/N tiedown. Courtesy car. New FBO with shower. Pitched our tent on adjacent lawn. (Note: A/C units are noisy at night). Also camped & hiked at nearby Smith Rock -beautiful! A local rock climber’s haven. Geno's Italian restaurant outstanding.

This was our first trip in to S33. Very nice people and beautiful FBO facility. It's a very easy trip into town and we had an excellent lunch at the Big Bear Diner. We'll be back again...

Landed at Madras today only to discover I had lost all the hydraulic fluid in my right brake. Rob and another person came out to help push me off the runway to Rob's hangar where the problem was remedied. Thanks Rob. I'll make S33 a regular stop to and from the northwest from now on
