Great place to buy fuel. Tarmac has been recently redone, new lights and runway paint.

Still a nice place to stop and the lowest priced AVGAS around. I do enjoy coming to Anahuac.

Flew in late Saturday afternoon (May 19) for a top-off. Not a soul around, but it was about 1800. The runway is in great condition and well marked. Fuel pumps worked perfectly. $2.85 for 100LL as advertised. Still had 4 hours plus reserve fuel on board after flying back to Hooks. I will be stopping at Anahuac every chance I get!

Well-marked runway and taxiway, best fuel prices in the Houston area. Even a turf runway for those so disposed. A great fuel stop!

There is a logical explanation for closure; they were busy fixing things up! The runways and taxiways have been resurfaced and re-striped, there is new signage and there are new runway lights. Big improvements.

Over flew the field today and saw X's at the end of all runways. After I landed I checked NOTAMs and apparently the field is closed until further notice. Let's hope there is a logical explanation for this and it won't be permanent!

Runway has recently been resurfaced and restriped. Nice improvement...

It's been a while since I've landed there, but if I remember right, runway 12's lights are on the left side of the runway and runway 30's lights are on the right side of the runway. One time a Mooney was on final approach to runway 12 and he saw the lights to the side of the runway and banked hard to the right to stay on the right lineup for the runway and looked like it almost crashed.
