Good fuel price. Card reader temperamental, but have patience.

A good, quick gas stop. We stopped by on 9-2-08 and the fuel pump was working fine. Price was $5.23/gallon for 100LL, as advertised. The bathroom was nice and clean, and there's a phone available for those important Flight Service calls.

U82, Council is scheduled to close 20 August at 7 AM MDT for pavement preservation, and open 23 August at 5 PM MDT.

The following from City of Council website: 100 LL is again available. The price is $3.96 per gallon. Sorry, Jet A is not available. Both debit and credit VISA and Master Cards are accepted. A receipt may be obtained by immediately swiping the card after the pump is turned off, and "Yes" is selected from the menu.

Thank goodness I called first. Had a very pleasant conversation with the airport manager this evening, but he told me that they are presently OUT OF FUEL with no present estimate of when it's going to be replenished. He did tell me that the City Web site has the price and availability information.
