Great fuel price, nice smooth runway. The fuel pump is very slow, but worked well. It also shuts off at a certain dollar amount or gallon amount, so I had to restart the entire process again for 80 gallons of 100LL in the Mooney Acclaim. Dan, the airport manager was very nice.

Six Essex Skypark planes flew in to Gettysburg this Sunday. We borrowed the courtesy car to ride into town for a delicious lunch at the Blue and Gray Bar Grill. It's the first time we've been here since the FBO opened up. What a difference! We met Dan the FBO manager and the black cat who were both very friendly. Gettysburg is a neat town with tons of restaurants and of course the Battlefield. The self-serve gas is a little lower price than average and the 3, 000 foot runway is in good condition. The FBO has a nice lounge to relax in. This would be a great stop for a transient pilot, or a food destination for local area pilots.

I am not sure if I have EVER been to a more accommodating FBO. I am from Florida and had to fly up to Gettysburg for a convention. I had called and Tim was very nice on the phone. Then when we arrived he made sure we were all set and offered transportation. It snowed while we were there and when I came back to leave my plane was all cleaned off and he was just great. Nice cat too at the FBO. Good fuel prices. What more can you ask for? Support this one!!!!

Dropped in for fuel before heading home to N.C. Great stop in my Mooney, so much better than the surrounding area airports. Fuel price was far less. Dan met us at the pump to assist, then showed us the FBO and even provided a bottle of cold water. Class act at W05. Easy in and out. I would rate this as a top GA airport!

Great fuel stop and visit. Dan's trying his best to bring Gettysburg back to life. Looking to visit the battlefield or just a fuel stop, W05 is open for business.

It is wonderful to see self-service fuel back on the field at Gettysburg. There is a new roof, new paint and new life in the FBO. Great to see. I've always enjoyed going to Gettysburg. Now it is even better. Will return again and again. Well done DB Services!

Flew into Gettysburg to meet another pilot for a swap of dogs for a PilotsNPaws mission- Beautiful area, right in the heart of Gettysburg historic district and park- Dan, the A&P who is the on site manager, is very accommodating and willing to go the extra mile as he builds this field back up- Great spot for history buffs, walk to the battlefields- Call Dan for all local info

Flew in there 10/30/2020 Dan is fantastic, gave us a ride into town and back. They have fuel now. Can't say enough good tings about the FBO.
