Dropped in from RDU the other day to eat at Ernie's Restaurant in South Boston. A 5 minute ride from the airport, just call them when you land and they are more than willing to give you a ride. Ramp is freshly paved within the last few months and it seems that there are even more improvements to come with rumor of a new pilot facility. No tiedowns or chocks were around so be sure to bring a pair if needed.

Easy in and easy out. Very quiet airport. Pilot's lounge was accommodating and the fuel pumps worked as advertised. Would stop again.

Pump apparently went inop the day before a Thursday. Friday morning the county had service personnel troubleshooting. The pump was back in service around 11am. Great response as I was in very big need of fuel for departure. A++++++

Stopped at W78 William Tuck Airport on our way back from the Outer Banks of NC to Ohio. Great lil airport with self-service 100LL fuel. Trailer FBO building had a bathroom, flight planning and a well stocked snack machine. At $3.95 a gallon you really can't find a quicker fuel stop. We were in and out in less than 30 minutes!

Easy in & out. Follow fuel pump instructions exactly -- I switched on the pump before the credit card machine finished verifying the transaction and it would not pump any gas! Had to start over then it worked fine. Airport terminal is a small trailer, it was open early when we landed and was neat and clean with snack machine and computer flight planning plus necessary amenities.
