Stopped by on my way South to buy fuel. Managed to drop a brand-new cell phone on the ramp. Bill went out of his way to help me get it back. Thanks so much for your help! Lots of friendly people at W96; easy self-serve fuel, a highly recommended stop. I will be back...

GA at its best..... Was planning on going to RIC but there was an Obama TFR..... Called to figure how to get to destination (rental car, etc.) and airport Mgr offered to drive me into town himself! (Unfortunately ended up being so IFR that ceilings were below minimums so used an alternate but still so nice an offer). Highly recommend W96!!!!

Wonderful GA airport. Was on a PilotsNPaws flight yesterday and stopped there to drop off a dog. Nice clean facilities, good runway, and the fuel price is the best anywhere! $3.59 for 100LL.... Unbelievable!

Landed W96 for business meeting. Mgr. Bill Kelly graciously arranged local transportation for me. Airport is clean and well maintained. Very reasonable SS Fuel from a modern pump. I highly recommend New Kent W96 for any transient GA operations.

I'm based at this airport and just love it. GA at its finest. Very happy with management and the low fuel prices. Airport and beacon can be a bit tough to see from some directions, especially at night, so look for I-64 -- the airport is south of, and parallels, this major east-west highway. The surrounding rural area can be a bit of a "black hole" on moonless nights, but the recently renovated runway is well-lit and has two-light PAPIs at each end -- very helpful.
